I am 34 I decided to make a nice introduction here. Since I am researching news and information about anything to do with the substances and my area (FL) especially after being redirected here from a news article about the virus product maker who is in the news. I have known about this website a while but cannot really have participated in it much. After the news I mostly wanted to learn about the different types of "drugs" that are popular now. I am happy to be on and hope to learn more and participate more often. Thanks to the administration for letting me in.

DocRon here. I am 43, male, and an opiate addict. I used to use very-high-grade #4...then Opana. I have never used needles, thank Christ. I am now "on the program" and down to 22mg/day...much to the concern of the program doctors who want you on it FOREVER. They frown on decreases.
As a point of fact, I am also a benzo addict. It's not anybody's "fault" per se...but my methadone doc scripted me (over the course of 8 years) FOURTEEN MGS of Xanax per day!!! This is along with 60mg/dy diazepam and 700mg/dy carisoprodol (Soma).
I am currently on 2mg/dy Xanax and and 22mg/dy methadone. THEY don't know this...so I just collect the extras. Coming off of the Xanax is FAR harder than the methadone! I'm about to go into wds and get back on Subs...I have a ton of strips and only need about 1/8th of one to fix me up.
So, that's it. I'm a CentOS Linux engineer, I have a 2-year-old son, am married, and used to be a pharm tech for years. I studied psychopharmacology in Uni but am now fully into CS. My degree is in OChem but I've forgotten most of it. That degree was from decades ago.
