Hello Bluelight,
Many times I've read threads and now is the time to join.
I'm a 22 year old male from Kent, England, just coming out of a year long heroin addict (injecting.. alot). Just weaning off subutex and benzos so nearly there! Also a massive raver and experimenter of substances. Not as much as I used to though as I now realise living a long life will no doubt be more fulfilling.
I've had a cocaine problem on and off for years, which is pretty much now sorted, so hopefully can shed some light on the problems of that nasty addiction
.. and the way it changes you as a person dramatically.
Why I joined: to offer advise and any help I can provide to addicts who are suffering and finding impossible to quit. (Yes my addiction was only a year long, however shooting $$$ worth of smack daily and taking up to 300mg oxycodone daily, I feel I've a tad of knowledge to share.
My addiction lost me some of my best friends, distanced me from family, and all in all turned me into a selfish, heartless b*stard. So I joined to try and say anything I can/share experiences of different ways of kicking the habit, and purely to support anybody who is suffering from opiates, or other addictions.
So yeah hello everybody! Hopefully I will learn a lot and also share a lot with people on here!
