Hello BL community. I recently became a new member. I made this decision when I caught myself typing bluelight.org into the address bar rather then typing my questions into Google's search bar. While googling random curiosities I began to notice a pattern: bluelight was not only the most frequently suggested website in my quest for knowledge regarding delicate interests, but it was also the one that seemed to provided the most accurate answers. With opinions formulated from so many different types of peoples' personal experiences, It is easy to find the information you are after worded in a way that you especially can understand and further, appreciate. Access to a survey of opinions and experiences, shrouded by the veil of anonymity that is the Internet, creates opportunities to discuss sensitive subjects that would be otherwise unapproachable. This fights ignorance and I believe this key to the efforts of harm reduction. There are so many diverse discussions and participants, every one with individual encounters. Each unique response allows the community to see so many different angles of any particular topic bringing to light all possible outcomes and reminding us all that we do not share identical chemical makeup. In doing so, we are allowed a unique opportunity to foresee most (if not all) possible outcomes/reactions.
For this I am grateful to bluelight.org and for the opportunity to share, learn, laugh and grow with the BL community.
Keep up the good work and the quest to ban ignorance and replace it with important tools like information experience and awareness.
