I'm week 6 into a 12 week cycle of test (450mg). In the past I've only used nolva as I've heard from countless resources that's all you ever need. I decided to seek out clomid in addition to my regular nolva to see if I encounter any improvement in PCT.

I've noticed that I always seem to lose 5-8lbs after a cycle, retain the look of having that weight while losing some strength.

I'm sitting on about 100 tabs of 50mg clomid. From reading other posts I've seen 100/75/50/50 or 100/100/100/100. Other boards say go as high as 200 or 300 which sounds crazy. Tell me the right way.

Also does biking in excessive heat/humidity affect estrogen at all? Everyday I'm twice completely covered in sweat (as if I jumped in a pool with my clothes on) just from biking around in Texas. I've tried searching for this online and came up with nothing.

Just do 100/50/50/50. Very rarely will someone ever need to go as high as 200.

As for that last question, just going to pretend I didn't read that from you.

It's one of those things I was thinking about. You know - we all think sometimes. Estrogen causes water retention so excessive water loss means...?

What resources? Some juicehead on steroid.com or the guy at the gym who runs Dbol only and looks like a water ballon? Nolvadex is effective for preventing gyno during PCT. You need Clomid to stimulate the testicles into producing testosterone again. Not using Clomid is the reason you are losing almost 10 pounds. The dosage regime Voxide suggested will be sufficient for you.

A few more cycles with Nolva only and you are going to have some hormonal issues.

This is why I'm using clomid AND nolva. Also there were users on this forum (before you) who were telling people this. "Respected" users.

You are biking around. In Texas. The southwest United States. In July.

So water retention and estrogen have nothing to do with each other.

They do. Heat and humidity won't effect estrogen levels though. The only thing that will effect estrogen levels is excess testosterone converting to estrogen. You don't have to worry about cardio raising your estrogen or even lowering it.

There were "respected" bodybuilders in the past praising using Nubain to lower cortisol levels and enhance lean muscle gain.

I can only hope someday when I am long gone, a person comes along and is able to point out my mistakes and learn from them, if any.

so excessive water loss means...?

It means you better get your ass to a water fountain.

Seriously, this is a non-issue. Do you reckon that brushing my teeth prior to shaving will cause a spike in estrogen?

A gallon of water a day keeps dehydration, kidney stones, and liver failure away.

just saying... clomid 100/50/25/25 brought my balls back WITH A VENGEANCE! they're bigger than ever and tender right now lol. hope this isn't a bad thing!

Clean out you pipes. In other words, go out and get laid or take things into your own hands. It's actually a very healthy thing to do on and off cycle.

my sex drive is still somewhat low though. and unfortunately my girl is out in virginia with her mom for the summer -_-

probably picked the best time to run a cycle anyway...

Probably not. When did you finish your last run?

Update here. I was curious (again) is there any benefit to using BCAAs to preserve gains post cycle and is there any benefit in increasing my cycle from 12 to 14 weeks?

BCAA's are beneficial at all times granted that your diet is on par.

As for the 2nd question, if you're still making gains up until this point then I don't see why not.

Cool. I've used BCAAs (all the time) back and forth in the past but doing so adds up ($$$). I'd just like to preserve as much as possible. I always felt I could tell the difference with/without BCAAs. For some dumb reason I never thought to include them in a post-cycle.
