decided to treat myself after copping dope.

on my way back grabbed some blow. long time since i done it, first time grabbing from this guy. was nodding pretty bad so i pulled over did a line. standard shitty coke you get when youre gettin back into it. wasnt surprised really.

com home and try to bang it, and theres a shitload of stuff still left in the cooker after i pull up. never seen that before. full out insoluble cut. not much of a rush at all, not much of a high, so im guessing theres something active in that undissolved shit.

how much of that actually can get in the syringe through the cotton?

im not heating it, but if it isnt dissolved i should be good yes? or is there tiny particulate matter that does get in the solution?

also is it a decent idea just to filter it all at once? as in dissolve and push through a coffee filter or something, and then use the resulting solution?

Ugh, yeah I've gotten shit like this in the past. It always pisses me off. It's just all cut.

As to your question about the filtration.. the insoluble adulterants wont get into your shot, but still, all the other nasty shit will. Filtering it multiple times really won't have an impact. The only thing to really do with crappy coke like that is do an acetone wash if you have enough, or try using some citric acid as that sometimes helps break everything down allowing you to get more of the actual coke in your shot.

For the most part though, shitty coke is just shitty coke and there's not much you can do about it besides don't buy from that source anymore.
 
Wouldn't adding citric also mean injecting a lot more inactives that would have otherwise remained undissolved? Maybe do a rinse on the left over powder. We are talking about coke yes, not crack?
 
Unless you want to do column chromatography or acid/base extraction, the best option is to not buy that coke any more. It looks more like plaster of paris than cocaine, anyway...

Cocaine HCl should be readily soluble in even cold water and shouldn't need citric acid to "break down".

Yeah it would also mean IV'ing inactive adulterants, which is why it's not really a great alternative. I have done it before though being really pissed getting shitty coke and it does allow you to feel it a lot more sometimes depending on what it is cut with, but the flip side is that you're IV'ing shit that shouldn't be in your veins.

The best thing to do is just throw it out because it's garbage and never score from that guy again.
 
been there, brother. pretty frequently recently. nuthin to do with it without being.... even more silly than IVing coke in the first place... but hell, we've probably all knowingly shot adulterants outta desperation.

oh thats not what i meant I left the gunk be. I mean i IVed the rest of this shitty coke plus an extra gram the dude threw me (/traded me) due to discussions we had. My arm is a fucking mess. Didn't rotate much but i can pretty much kiss the vein in my left elbow crook goodbye.

Yeah, even though the coke itself is readily water soluble....when you end up with a cooker full of mud like that and you can only draw up 40% of the water you threw down, you know there's some cocaine that's in solution that's stuck in the mud.. That sucks! Aside from citric, I suppose you could hold the cooker sideways and push the mud all to one side and press hard on it, hoping some of the water drips down to the other side, filter and then try shooting that...ayahh!
 
It's obvious the coke is cut to hell. Personally, I'd flush that shit and hope I don't get ripped off again. But......drugs are expensive. With coke being no prices a gram these days, I could understand why you wouldn't want to do that.

The way the coke looks mixed with water is similar to how baking soda looks when mixed with water. Try dabbing a bit on your tongue. If it barely gets numbs and takes like salt, it's definitely 90% baking soda.

Um, yeah it was baking soda or a base of some kind.

decided i mgiht as well throw some cirtic in there today, most of it dissolved.

Shitty coke sucks so bad. I hated the way it would make me feel, usually I would get high from it but then the come down would be worse. Good coke on the other hand is one hell of a drug. If I were you I would throw that shitty coke out and get some new coke.
