Intravenous Cocaine Dosage?

Hi, I have never done cocaine before. But I may be doing a clinical study, which involves taking 100% pure cocaine intravenously. They want to give us doses of 20mg and 40mg. 20gm to start to see if we can handle it, and then 40mg along with a drug which is meant to break down cocaine in the body to stop you from getting high.
Is 20mg of pure cocaine injected enough to OD on if you've never done coke?

No, it's a reasonable dose for usage as a stimulant, and since it's a study it should be the pure pharmaceutical alkaloid injected in a sterile setting.

The figure I have for recreational usage is something like 40 to 60mg IV for semi-regular users.

Lab-grade nayo is relatively tough to come by, so I must say you are quite lucky! 20mg is absolutely active at that purity, but will most likely not induce seizures/other OD related symptoms.

Make sure that whoever administers your dose uses at LEAST a half cc of water and injects slowly, as to gauge your reaction. The increase to 40 mg might be a bit high for a newbie so I would have more trepidation when climbing that latter. Let us know how it goes!

Unless you're hypersensitive you should be fine. 50mg of some fairly pure (over 80%) blow was plenty to get a huge rush. If we're talking good quality powder, 40-60mg is an average shot according to most people I know. 100mg can be quite a lot and I nearly killed myself with 200.
