Intoxication fetish?

To me, there's something really sexy in a primal sort of way about getting stoned or fucked up, or altering one's consciousness in any way.

Also, being even slightly intoxicated seems to somehow "allow" me to freely explore my own consciousness and imagination, in a way that is somehow prohibited when I'm sober, because of some deep internal notion that it's too childish, or something -- even if I'm negligibly stoned, at a threshold level.

Meaning, drugs are cool because of the weird and wonderful things they do to the consciousness, but ALSO simply because something is intrinsically cool about getting fucked up!

Anyone agree?



P.S. I think it would be infinitely hot to get high with a girlfriend. Sadly I have not had this experience yet.

P.P.S. I've never used "feel-good" drugs -- not even MDMA. I take only high-dose psychedelic drugs, and occasionally smoke pot; both of which actually take effort and practice for me to utilize in a positive way. Just for the record.

Yeah, I agree. I think maybe it is because mind-alteration gives us new perspective on what is important in our lives, and sex is a central part of pretty much everyone's psyche (whether technically or symbolically). So the drugs inevitably bring us back to sex, or death, or parents, or whatever. And this can manifest physically. A lot of the time when I trip, I feel extreme sexual energy, like my whole body and soul is fucking the universe. Ironically, this comes hand-in-hand with the inability to achieve erection.

Getting high with a girlfriend is the best thing ever. Cannot recommend it enough. Especially on the "feel-good" drugs, but any drug will offer a worthwhile experience.

You might consider restructuring your life around the priority of having sex on LSD. In the face of such a possibility, relatively everything else is meaningless.
