Ever since I used cocaine, and a few times stimulants (ritalin, dexedrine).
I dont respond well to GABA agonists anymore.
In the past I could get always get a drink and feel good when I was drunk. But nowadays, I feel nothing. It just makes me more anxious and very sleepy.
Phenibut makes me me sleepy to.

Can anyone explain? In the past I responded well to alcohol?

I feel like i fucked up something in my brain, also my anxiety has gotten way more severe due stimulants(rit/dex), Ive not used alot though.
And cocaine about 10 grams.

Also i want to mention that it seems stimulants induced my anxiet order. I used to drink caffeine just fine, but nowadays I got panic and such... Any advise?

Well, at a guess really could be a number of things....

If one drinks a lot (as in, "alcoholic levels" - not saying you're an alcoholic! :) ) the body response by increasing the (main) enzyme (alcohol dehydrogenase) which metabolites alcohol (to a non-toxic metabolite). It does this so the body is capable of metabolising greater quantities of alcohol and thus preventing damaging. (this is why, an alcoholic is able to down a full bottle of say vodka and not die of alcohol poisoning since their body is more capable. Opposed to us "normals", which would die of alcohol poisoning. It's a defence mechanism). This is also one reason why if someone doesn't drink for a long time (6 months, 1 year+), they are able to become drunk quite quickly as the reverse happens; the body will reduce the transcription (creation) of this enzyme if it's not being used.

However, you say any GABAergic substance has loss efficiency? (so I don't believe it's what I described above). It does however follow that any damage to GABA receptors can cause symptoms which as anxiety/nervousness/panic attacks/etc.

Off the top of my head I can't think of how (abuse of) cocaine/stimulant use could cause this kind of damage. All I can say atm is maybe it's the end of stimulant drug use for you. :?

Do you drink when dosing cocaine? Possibly the metabolite cocaethylene? :\

Hopefully someone else can come up with something else....
