Anyway.. I wasn't sure where to put this. I know it doesn't belong in 'Film and television' or 'other drugs' or 'Basic Drug discussion', so i put it here. Please feel free to merge with the other 'Intervention' thread or to where the mods thing this should be.
4 posts merged in.

i don't understand how you think it didn't belong in here? please use the search engine and have a think about where your threads should go.

So the woman who was into duster what happened to her cats? I would have tried to get them back. The whole sugar daddy for duster thing was weird too, who becomes a duster whore?

HAHAHA good point. I was wondering that too.

Another favorite I have is one that was just on. Her name was Kristin and my life was pretty much identical to hers. Crack+IV heroin+IV cocaine+street life= fucked up situation and way too close too close to home...not anymore thank god.

I can't remember his name but the alcoholic who had the tanning salons.

He was abused by his stepfather, had a failed marriage, and turned to alcohol after GBH was discontinued from his fitness pills.

In the end he died because he was in denial that he had a problem. One of the few on the show that actually died.

ohh man the duster girl was the best episode with the dxm kid my 2 favorite episodes i recomended these 2 when i was in my dui classes, all we watched was intervention for the first 8 weeks i also liked the girl that lived in that house that her dad would pay for every month and she was a stripper that did meth and drank a shit load of vodka, also an old one i saw fabian a artist who did meth and drank vodka, the episode also had a woman that did meth and lived out of her car with 2 sons.

the DXM kid was impressive. anybody who's done a 3+ plateau trip on DXM can appreciate what it must be like to LIVE in that zone 24/7. The guy has been doing DXM daily for years and years at up to 1800 mg (5th plateau for sure). The fact he can function at all surprised me to be honest. I bet if he sobered up (which I think would take longer than a 3 month stint in rehab) he would still have challenges years later from the abuse he's put his brain/body through.

Other great episodes:
Burl country guy on meth
the producer kid on crack
the chick on meth/alcohol

ones I'm not a fan of: alcoholics and people with eating disorders.

overall though its a great show. I've enjoyed almost all of them

hey it's that dxm kid!!!!! hanging in there

Yea, Ben the DXM addict. The boozer who kept yelling and crying "My babies, where are my babies, my babies while she sat out on the back porch having a cig. Her mother would hide her mini vodie bottles. And she had to be picked up at bars by her sister. She was very rich and the perfect mom before becoming a drunk. Oh yea she was an interior designer, that is till she became a drunk and lost everything.

There are a few other but I'm not awake yet. the last ep was good, the body builder who was a big time drunk.. he kept saying he'd hurt himself if someone wouldn't get him "a Bottle"

I like the show but some of the counselors piss me off sometimes and the parents piss me off sometimes.

RG

what up girl!!!!!

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ben wut it do my dude!
