Television Intervention

i wanna party with cristy(minus the meth)

christy, the meth-addicted, alcoholic stripper!

not the most likeable by far, but definitely the most entertaining Intervention in the history of the show.

this is my fav episode.

actually i thought she was quite likeable. she was definately out of control, but she had a weird way of somehow being kinda funny.

IT was sad her cats got taken away but if she wasn't feeding them than yea, that was the appropriate thing to do. The mother or someone said during the intervention that if needs the money for 'duster' than she doesn't feed the cats.
What would have been ideal is if the parents picked up the cats so she could have them when she came back. If someone threatened to take away my pets-- that would probably be the one thing that would make me go to rehab. If someone said "It's your pets or drugs" I'd pick my pets. But, that's just me. sure, it would be a bitch to quit but i love my animals and they are more important than my pain relief and a high (from pills). So yea, that would have made me DROP EVERYTHING and go to rehab. But, she was under the influence and wasn't thinking right.

By far the oddest episode(Oh except Ben the DXM kid, i loved that one). The 'Duster' episodes is right up there with the DXM kid!

I loved how she called the Duster 'Drugs'... i don't think of duster as real 'Drugs'.. yea, it is a drug when used the wrong way but it just seems strange to me. Every time she called it drugs i cracked up.

Very sad story... that girl~

I still wanna see a pod-addict!!!!!

I'm pretty sure logic isn't really functioning at its best when your fucked on duster 24/7, pillthrill.

Yeah, thats why its fucked up to a "normal" person.

This about what she would be like if her bf at the time had introduced her to ACTUAL drugs....can you say dead pretty damn quick?

homegirl last night off that duster was bananas...n ' she ended up goin to rehab, and all be damned it look like she improved. surprise surprise....

that girl went from zero to retarded in less than half a second. wow.

idk maybe when I'm feeling like I'm so fucked up and crazy....
I'll watch that shit and feel better that it could be worse.

I don't completely agree with you. Huffing can be really dangerous... especially since she drives while on it. And it looks like she drives a lot.

I honestly can't believe she could still form sentences while somewhat sober. :\

Especially if you look at how huffing dusters and the like literally does "fuck" up your brain (re: neurotoxicity), while other drugs like heroin for instance cause no immediate/permanent brain damage (in it's pure form anyway).

No to say it's a better idea to shoot dope than it is to huff cleaners...either way you're heading down a dead end road.

His name is Coley; yeah that was a good episode.

i liked that one and the one about the kid who was into IV coke with his sister (who sniffed coke) and they'd be go out and drink and do lots of coke.

i also like the one where the mother who was an alcoholic would drink so much she'd pass out on the front lawn mid-afternoon with her 4 and 5 year old kids running around and playing while their mother is passed out drunk from drinking fucking mouthwash b/c her family hid her vodka. shows how fucked up alcohol, a legal drug is.

never saw the DXM one..

that episode was weak.

they were total pussies.

they were like "ooooo, we are so fucked up & we party so hard....we need help".

it was like they were doing drugs in front of the camera just to look like they were screwed up on drugs.....not because they were drug addicts.

wern't they from some wacko religious family?

My favorite episode has to be Chrissy the Crystal Meth addict that whored herself out. She was such a bittttch. Her aftermath said she went right back to the pipe.

how bout the one with the blonde girl on meth (IV) who was the daughter of the preacher dude, she was like 17 & lived with that 40-some year old guy...

"we're the most popular in our circle cuz all the guys want to be with me & the girls want to be with my bf because we're hot and have the most drugs in our pocket."

o.O w. t. f? really, you're hot, miss frog-eyes? and your sugar daddy lets you live in that sweet-ass trailer... who wouldn't be jealous?

i missed the chrissy episode, but i heard it was awesome.
one of my favorite moments was when this guy, i think his drug was DXM, he goes and gets a blowjob from a hooker, and doesn't have money to pay her, so the pimp shows up and starts threatening the producer and the camera guy and the producer is just like "excuse me???".

I don't see how you can betlittle someone's addiction like that when they're slamming coke like that kid was...that's not exactly a habit most people get into for "weekend fun".

If I remember correctly, he'd only been using the needle for 4 months but was slinging blow and using it daily at 10-15 shots per day.

His sister's situation could be argued as a little exaggerated I guess, but definitely not his.
