I just wonder what it's like walking around trying to get a job (or trying to DJ at a club or something) when people recognize him. That would suck. Then again I probably wouldn't ever go on Intervention...then again they probably like offer you cash or something...But I mean every episode starts by saying
"he/she thinks they are being interviewed about a documentary on addiction...they do not know they will soon face an intervention"

I mean...okay, who would even want to show people all the stupid shit the addict side of you does. I know that I'm not very proud of walking down the highway carrying fucking cans back to the store and shit, you know?

Yeah, going on intervention is like guaranteeing you'll never get another job again. Well, maybe if at the end you go clean you could possibly get a job as a drug councilor or something.
I saw 1 episode where this girl said she was auditioning for american idol and then 10 seconds later she snorted a line of coke WHAT?

Intervention is an awesome show, I have seen most of them episodes I think. The meth addicted logger (Coley) is one of the best episodes I have seen recently, he's a really good guy, a hard worker, good father and husband... unlike lots of the other people who are totally trash.

I once knew a guy who was on intervention. His name was Ian. Him and his brother were the two addicts (instead of one it was two) and his brother was in a wheelchair. I knew him while I was in rehab and used to see him at meetings at least once a week. He was from south or something, we were both living in New Mexico at the time going to different rehabs. He NEVER mentioned being on Intervention, even though it must have been going on the whole time.

i just watched the "lawrence" episode in which the gentleman was in complete denial about his alcoholism and ended up passing away.

it hit close to home because i was on the same path not too long ago, but thankfully i was not in as much denial about my problem.

it makes my heart hurt to think about having to see a friend or family member go through this. i wish anyone who is having to witness similar situations the best of luck.
