"My son is addicted to alcohol.. and hallucinogenic mushrooms."
i fell asleep for the intervention tho.

the only intervention were the person died was..........................................Alcohol
ironic huh, even after heion, crack, dxm addicts n such

He was just a loser who figured out his mother would support his slacking so he leeched off her, he wasn't addicted to anything.

shroom addict? dxm addict? lolwut...who'd want to be THAT fucked all the time?

even MDMA...if I spent most of of my time hugging and loving people...I'd be so disgusted with my self I'd an hero.

i wana be on intervention
i abuse the living shit out of weed
but im also very successful, i wana put the word out to people weed is bomb

I caught a couple episodes of this show last night. I saw the meth addicted logger, and the John episode (DJ alcoholic, psych-head). I enjoy the show, it is an interesting look into the life of addiction.

I missed the last half of the John episode, how did he fare?

My impression was that he was really depressed and isolated and was an addict because he was self medicating. He seemed like the kind of guy who really did have emotional attachments to people before he became depressed though, so I'm betting he was able to straighten out his head.

Anybody who saw the ending wanna let me know how it turned out?

I enjoy this show from time to time but those drug counselors they have on that show are serious fucknuts and if someone tried to corner me up like they do on that show i would probably explode and beat the shit out of that counselor.

i was in rehab a few years ago with a kid like that....said he was in there for weed and when everyone started crackin on him he said he was hooked on DXM, crack and a whole bunch of other shit he had prolly never tried.

it was just like BL lol.

Someone died? Which one?
It was a more recent episode, at least made in 2008. I believe he passed away just this past February. He was a major alcoholic but he was also very successful as an entrepreneur. He was just in complete denial, told everyone he would have "1 or 2 drinks" when in reality he was drinking like 2-3 entire cups of straight vodka every day. He had a bunch of bruises and sores all over his body and his wife had to wash him all the time...It was very sad. I can't remember exactly what he died from, esophageal something or other, but it was alcohol-related.

I thought that dude was pathetic...the John dude...

when his mom comes in with the money and he's brushing his teeth and he's still fucked up from the night before and he's just like "Cha-ching!"

She was paying for all of his shit! Even his rent!
I've been paying my own way since I was fucking 16.
I really hope he's grown up.

The mom is just as responsible as this guy for subsidizing this sh*t. He got away with it for as long as he could. Very strange episode of a unique series...

He also could have come up with a better D.J. name than "Doctor Doom". I'm just saying...
