Just started testing my pills with the mandelin regent test and cant always decide on what the results are saying...

SO, a quick to purple / black indicates an ecstasy like substance, and quick to green is a speed like substance, and heres my question:

Whilst testing Pink MTV's last night the test went bright red imidiatelty after contact and then quickly to a dark green and then to purple to black....can you infer from these results that the pill contains both speed and xtc like substances in it?? or are results like these common?....Any help for a newbie tester would be great....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pill Description:

Logo: MTV (Not the traditional MTV logo....the M takes up the most of the pill and the TV bit is smaller and sits underneath the M)

Size: 8mm by 4mm

Score: yes (Slight bevell on score side of pill)

Colour: consistent Light pink with slight white patches

Smell: Slight aniseed

The mandelin reagent is not as easy to use to identify an amphetamine combination pill. The best way is to use a marquis reagent which will give an orange reaction with swirls of black for MDxx and amphetamine. If I was in your position I would suggest the results were your pill contained at least some MDxx, and possibly, and inconclusively some amphetamine content. You would need to use marquis too.
