My internal jugular vein on both sides of my neck are either collapsed or very, very nearly. External are untouched however, now, when I hold my breath for any extended period of time I get blood rushing to (or staying in) my head. I used the veins for three days before any discernible problems arose. I am not looking for new injection sites nor am I looking for a lecture on how dumb it was to use These veins in the first place. What I want to know is whether or not blood flow will return (due to the high pressure there and what not and/or the creation of new, much smaller veins) or whether or not I should seek prompt medical attention.
