Interesting Spice Gold Observation

I've been a somewhat frequent user of Spice Gold and I really appreciate the effects, although not the prices. Anyways, I've noticed that when I get to the bottom of the bag, the finer plant sediments seem to be more potent, up to 2x or 3x! Spice Gold always gets me feeling good, similar to marijuana with the exception of the giddy, psudopsychedelic head space(I'm lucky enough to experience this on weed anyways, fucking over use and tolerance), but the fine shit really gets me high.

I noticed that the darker pieces of plant material seem to fall to the bottom, I think this may be the blue lotus, but I'm not sure. The first time I smoked a "bottom-bag" bowl of spice I was REALLY stoned, fantastically fucked up. I can function normally on spice gold and weed(depending how much I smoke), but after this bowl I didn't want to move and when I talked to people they kept giving me these wierd looks as if they knew I was under the influence (or mabey I was paranoid.) It felt similar to smoking a couple bowls of high-powered kush-Fucking Awesome.

Anyone else?

That myth was debunked a while ago....... Plus, the person who started it had no proof.

^same here. Also worried if it is so close to a marijuana high would it ring the drugtest bell....VERY doubtful, but with the synthetic cannibinoid talk I gotta wonder.

Holy christ- I can't believe that the listed ingredients could possibly give the results claimed.

Does anyone I know *isn't* being paid have any experience with it?

no offense Ace, but I'd like to hear it from someone I can definitely trust.

I've sent an email to the makers asking to donate a 1 to 3 gram sample for testing. Hopefully I'll hear back from them by Friday.

I'd like to test it for synthetic cannabinoids, natural cannabinoids and to ensure that it contains what they're claiming it contains.

I worry some that it contains myristicine (sp?), since that's known to produce a very cannabis like high (ie: nutmeg).

I'm not going to purchase any until I'm able to see what's actually in it. If it contains synthetic cannaboinoids, it'd definitely still be worth the price as long as it's one that's not a legal analogue of THC.

I heard the main component of the high comes from the indian warrior and not much else. Many people smoke indian warrior alone and get pretty fucked.

This stuff certainly does work, the shop i buy this stuff from is always sold out seems people like this stuff even if it does taste like shite.

Let us know what you find out ham.. Maybe you shouldn't have told them what you intended to do with it because if it doesn't have what they claim they sure as hell aren't going to be donating any to you.

I'm basically reposting from a different thread:

I have heard of and looked at the ingredients of "spice gold"

My hypothesis is that the "high" comes mainly from the "mad dog dessert scullcap" (sculletaria nana) aka dwarf scullcap.

Granted I have no experience with sculletaria nana or many of the other ingredients. With that in mind, my comment should have no bearing, it's just a thought.

There are apparently three species of scullcap that are psychoactive, each one more potent than the next. Sculletaria Lateriflora is said to be weak and almost unnoticeable. There is one intermediate (said to be like normal pot, ie. schwag); and the most potent is said to be called mad dog dessert scullcap (sculletaria nana), which is supposed to have effects similar to KB.

I have seen many sites selling "mad dog dessert scullcap" which in actuality turns out to be Sculletaria Lateriflora.

Anyway, I have no experience with these, so I shouldn't be considered a knowledgeable source.

My point with this post is that I would be highly interested in reading a Trip Report on Sculletaria nana.

Ham-milton, it might be better to ask for something more like a 100 or 200 mg sample for testing..... 1 or 2 g is more like a smoking amount. (Unless you're just lying to get your hands on some free spice gold lol)

I've tried spice gold too and no other drug I've used came so close to cannabis.
I even get the anxiety and paranoia! But a bit less. So it must be affecting the same receptors that cannabis does or something. I suspected a cannabinoid too as many herbals I've use aren't worth shit. This stuff works. And only a very small amount is needed. And spice gold doesn't look very much like a combination of different herbals at all. Tests have been done and no cannabinoids were found. It's still a mystery.

I've got some serious stoner friends (as I'm sure almost anyone here has :P), and they actually like spice gold - admittedly not as much as weed, but nonetheless, impressive for an herbal blend.

I don't think 1-200 mg would be enough to figure it out, since after talking it over with Vector, one test isn't likely to solve anything. Multiple tests probably won't solve anything, even.

So, I'll do the tests and then with whatever is left over, I do intend to smoke some. That may be the only way I manage to figure it out.

I've been scrounging up synthetic cannabinoids from various people I know and tasting them over the last few days. So far none of them fit the effects profile of Spice Gold, though I didn't really expect the first 3 to be the answer. I haven't tried any of the indolealkylamine variety yet, though- and those are probably going to be the easiest to synthesize and also way outside the possibility of the analogue act. I haven't found anyone with those, but hopefully it won't take too long.

Looks like nothing but mugwort- nothing but. There's little to suggest there's actually all the other shit in it. "Indian Warrior" my ass.

The stuff contains a synthetic cannabinoid, plain and simple.

could some kind sould PLEASE list ALL the ingredients? ive never heard of this shit,
but i do know that HUNDREDS of reports denote mad dog desert skullcap as feeling almost as good as sinsimilla, so im SURE that is where any cannabis like high is coming from. seriously, ive had the weaker varieties of skullcap, and they definatly felt like some weak asss mexi brick shwag kinda. but i hear the desert skullcap really does produce nice effects
im kinda half interested in this blend now surprisingly
peace
