I have been taking a high quality withania somnifera extract (ashwagahnda) the past couple of days and I noticed something interesting. I usually wake up at 5:00 am sweating with dialated pupills (especially now since I am tapering off high dose codeine) and I took some ashwaghanda extract. My pupils are now constricted, no sweating, and no anxiety. I am definitely going to continue with taking small doses at least 3 times a day. I'll let you guys know if I have consistent results over the next few days.

I'm not really sure where this goes, but I have the inclination that this does not belong in HL. Possibly OD? Or journal? I don't see how this could generate much discussion... Good luck with your plan OP! I hope that you feel better soon.

OD mods.. I moved this here as it was related to opiate withdrawal. If you don't feel like it belongs here, I apologize.

Withania Somnifera extract (ashwagandha) is well known for attenuating opiate withdrawal symptoms, though not as effective as Clonidine or Ibogaine. It can also lower Opioid tolerance.

indeed, this is interesting.... although, I can't find anything with google, please do share sources of info/ experiences!
