Cocaine Interesting cocaine experiences

So I tried cocaine out for the first time 2 or so months ago, and just recently did it again. Words can't really describe my first experience, if I had to try and explain the short-lived high when first railing it I would say it was a mix between amphetamines and benzos. Kind of like taking a vyvance with xanax, the mental high of an amphetamine but the body high of a benzo. It didn't last very long, but then again I only did 2 or 3 lines because I was being safe on my first use.

The comedown was quiet the experience, I actually found it somewhat scary at first. I would become incredibly zoned out for long periods of time, it was only 4 or 5 of us & sometimes I would find my mind to be incredibly attached to a certain thing, such as the TV or my phone. Then I would jump into conversation, and zone out again for a while. I can see why some would not see this to be pleasurable, but I thought of it all as the experience.

When I tried it again just recently, it was actually a lot different. I didn't reach that high of a peak, but I did more lines that I have previously (5 or so). I was with 4 others and we just talked and listened to music for a good 2 or more hours. It was defiantly a great time, of course we talked about life and other heart to heart topics. Surprisingly enough I actually found myself getting tired, and when I got home I took a few antihistamines and passed out, which is very unlike me. Usually I find falling asleep to be extreamly difficult, whenever I take my vyvance or drink caffeinated drinks later in the day sleep is almost impossible unless I have ambien. I was a bit sleep deprived though, so that could explain why my body just passed out.

Overall I really enjoy this drug, although it is ridiculously expensive. I'm used to getting smoked with my friends headsmoke then occasionally buying an eighth of weed now and then, so throwing down $50 for a nights worth of blow defiantly takes a toll on the wallet.

I was wondering if it's unheard of to be a "casual" cocaine user? Obviously it's possible, and I don't see myself ever letting this drug take over my life or anything of the sort. Getting together with some friends every now and again to partake doesn't seem like it would lead one to become an addict. The only other similar hard drug I've done is esctacy, but that was only twice. If one is responsible with how much they use, could they casually blow from time to time?

It's not unheard of, no.. just from personal experience I know many. You just have to set limits, treat it as you do Ecstasy, save it for occasional use etc..

^This.

If you let cocaine rule your life, it will. If you enforce the necessary boundaries it needs, you'll be ok. You don't really have to worry about physical dependence/withdrawal like with opiates.

Cocaine is a great test of your personal willpower. As well as your ability to budget and set priorities.

Like effie said, use it as you would ecstasy. Cocaine the drug itself does not limit you, however the thought of serious health defects in the future should.

I agree with the other posters. Cocaine certainly takes quite a bit of willpower to handle responsibly. In my opinion, cocaine is one of the harder drugs to control due to the short lived high. Maybe try putting certain dates on your "calendar" of when you can use the stuff.

Just be careful, many addicts started where you are now.

I may have never had good coke, but every time I use it I always find myself shrugging at it, wondering why I even bothered, and then feeling like SHIT afterwards no matter how 'good' the high was. Never have I gotten a satisfactory high from coke, the effects are always negligible and the hangover always sucks. I've more or less vowed to never touch coke again

MDMA goes in the same category for me. I've had a couple damn good rolls, a whole handful of lame ones, one or two negative experiences, and shitty ass after effects every time that last for months. It may all be psychological, but regardless, it's still an effect. I've left that all in my past, just not worth it to me.
