I refuse to read any of his stuff. My roommate was reading one of his books and I browsed through the pages--amateur prose at best. I'll pass.

you're right, but i didn't want to say it (but he is making more people read, which is good, right?).

oh yeah, life of pi is very good. not really in the science genre, but worth the read regardless.

although not science related at all, a good intro to philosophy book is "Sophie's World" (can't remember the author right now)

the holographic universe by michael talbot

Good book, but why stop there.

Wholeness, and the Implicite Order, by David Bohm.

Same aspect, and pattern of thought, just different attack on it.

Now is it just a coincidence that you have the icon with David Bohm on it? or...

^^^^ have you read it?

I can't really say without discussing the whole book

basically, It filled in a bunch of historical and spiritual gaps for me. gave me a much bigger and more accurate understanding of human history. With that, I've been able to see humanity's current phase in history from a much more logical and accurate perspective.

I'll have to agree with the Dan Brown fans, Da Vinci Code and Angel and Demons, still got digital fortress and deception point to get through, ace books!

^^About as sarcastic as me calling you a dumbassed dolt, with inflammed hemoraging eyelids. Oh wait I thought you meant insulting. Well, NVM then.

lol. Sorry if you thought I was trying to insult you. I truly thought that CS was being sarcastic. I was just trying to discern the "Truth". :)

Again, my apologies.

Although I do take umbrage to your discussion about my eyelids! I try to take care of them.. I really do. :(
