☮ Social ☮ Interesting article on how Psilocybin can help people face death

Any change you ever heard 'Roly Poly Fish Heads'?

Like a million times since the 80's .....

Try this on for size next time you've dosed, folks

And, just for fun, let's all not forget the OP started this thread discussing:

edited to change video link to a better quality sample...

Only heard of it, just listened it few secs ago the 1-st time. No idea it was not 60-ties.

How we comes its over psychedelic music now, as part of this derailing ot the topic must have had a reason? But your right we are off track.

Something relevant: there are rumors over Aldous Huxley using only LSD an N2O in his final stage till his death. And if they are true he found it made it eassier to make peace with it, or something along that line. He refused painkillers as they would numb the transition.

But before that becomes another internet story I ll check if its not a made up. But it does have some logic to it. Tripping and death.

So checked there is no mention of refuse of painkillers or N2O use, but.

"On November 22, 1963, Aldous Huxley, bedridden and dying, requested on a writing tablet that his wife Laura give him a 100 microgram dose of LSD. As she went to get the drug from the medicine cabinet, Laura was perplexed to see the doctor and nurses watching TV. She gave him a second dose a few hours later, and by 5:20 p.m. he had died. Laura later learned that the TV had been showing coverage of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, who had been pronounced dead at 1:00 p.m. that day." [LSD att was legal]

No real foul, dude, just respecting the OP

One of us could easily start a cool, what music do I like to trip now thread and still have this possibly cool thread.

But everything is optional, including breathing. (But that's for another thread in the future, or was it past... I keep getting confused) 👍

As we were both replying at the same moment, did you read the Aldous Huxley part i added?

But it derailed right inbetween a post and my reply which contained a quote of a song. But were both off topic, and then started a live on their own. Not intentionally, so much distractions on here. Be more on my toes.

Yeah, I remember reading something like that about A H a long time ago, don't know if was true or not. It has the ring of truth to it, but I cannot absolutely co-sign ;)

Don't sweat the music, maybe in the future you can host that cool new thread right here in PD👍

I do know that I know where some is for my last moments on this third stone.

Atomheart Mother is one of the best Floyd albums imo. Beats the shit out of Dark Side.
May we go off road one more time, please.

There imo is only one real Floyd album thats psychedelic and i can listen too 'piper at the gates of dawn' and one song on the next album 'jugband blues'. Forgot 'see emily play' which was before the first album.

The rest is totally different, not really something to listen to. My mom did, maybe thats the reason, overkill. and later all those younger kids adoring it Echo's. Or that theatrical statement The Wall.

Want to hear something funny?
My wife of over 35 years (and hundred or so Dead shows) just discovered how good that song is last week. She must have heard it 1,000 times before as I like both Saucerfull of Secrets and Pipers at the Gates of dawn and play them a LOT.

I just checked them out.. I would totally like to listen to them if I was smoking pot and taking acid.

I found a trippy video to watch that someone posted in the music section. Thankfully they did.. I didn't know about this one. Anyway, after playing this I've got to get back on topic and start talikng about shrooms again.

Shrooms will definitely make you laugh you head off, but I never found any real recreational use for that Fly agaric stuff. Psilocybin mushrooms are still the best and make you act a little crazy.
