Intercourse or penetration-centric women

There's a ton of talk in the public sphere (mostly online) that women don't get off from penetration, only clitoral stimulation. This is often accompanied by a footnote saying erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation are no problem at all, 'cuz you can finish them off using your tongue, fingers, or a toy.

While the premise is undoubtedly true, my experience with women (roughly 50 different partners) indicates that most are, in the way that men are criticized for being, intercourse-centric. It's alright if you can't get hard or you bust a nut too early - once in a while. I have rarely encountered a woman who seemed more interested in me eating her out or fingering her than penetrative sex. Many of them have then, during intercourse, used their fingers or a toy to stimulate themselves, or asked me to do it, but I still wonder. For all the talk of men being all "dick in, dick out, bada-bing bada-boom, done", most women are at least as interested in the penis-vagina part of the sexy-time as they are in the part that is exclusively intended to make her climax.

Maybe it's a social thing, 'cause penetrative sex is the norm. Thoughts?
