Insulin- which athletes does it benefit?

I had sort of thought of insulin as a drug that was mainly good for bodybuilders (well, other than diabetics of course). Possibly it could be useful to someone who needed more bulk and couldn't come across it through AAS or HGH/IGF-1, and maybe for someone coming off of AAS and trying to maintain their size by combining it with HGH; but due to it not increasing pound for pound strength ( or so I thought, by stimulating the CNS) that it wouldn't be useful to say a 5'10 210 pound athlete who would like to stay that size or maybe put on a few pounds of functional muscle. Combine that with the fact that if used improperly you can die the SAME DAY YOU SHOOT IT (you can't OD on dbol or test) and I figured its application amongst atheletes would be limited.

But if you read "Game of Shadows" BALCO was giving it to Barry Bond, Sheiffield, Sprinters, etc. Was I very mistaken about this? Now, I don't plan on using it any time real soon, and I would only use it in low doses for short periods of time, making sure to get enough carbs, and with someone else around who knows what you are doing and what to do if something should happen, and I probably wouldn't use it at all. But I am curious as to what it would do for a baseball player who is already large and not really looking for a ton more size (Bonds did gain a lot of size, but I think he could have gotten there with AAS/HGH).

What athletes does it benefit? ALL of them, pending on how it's used and with what.

I've use insulin for many years on and off. I more or less reached my genetic potential several years back. I've done many cycles in my time, and the only cycles that continue to add more mass and strength are cycles that include both AAS, HGH, Slin, and IGF. Before I got into using slin, I would stay at an average of 230lbs. When I started using it with the ingredients mentioned above, I was able to tack another 20 lbs. of LBM.

Before anyone jumps into this, it's best to first figure out if in fact you are a candidate for insulin use. Insulin is the most anabolic substance on earth, and one little slip up can cost you your life or damage your body permanently. I studied for almost 1/2 a year before I started messing with the stuff....I suggest anyone thinking about using it to do the same.

I never played with insulin. Risks were too high for me personally.

My brother is a Type 1 Diabetic, and I have a thorough appreciation for the power of insulin from watching him suffer a diabetic coma.

Leave insulin the big boys, and even then.....

Just my two cents.

it will get you pretty fucking strong but be careful it can case death and watch how u eat u can get real fat from it
