insuffulation question

When i inhale through one of my nostrils it always hits the back of my throat straight away making me cough/gag and im sniffing as light as possible, but with my other nostril its absolutely fine.

Can anyone explain why? thanks

The same thing has happened to me, in my case it's from sniffing too many drugs. It never used to happen but clearly I've worn away some oof my mucous membrane or something.

yeah that was my guess too but the nostril which it flys through is the one i have never used as much tbf
