Opioids Insufflated Oxymorphone ER more enjoyable than Oxymorphone IR? (Generic brands)

This is the weirdest thing that I'm hoping someone can explain to me.

For some reason, I'm finding that Opana ER/Oxymorphone ER produces more euphoria and hits faster than Oxymorphone IR. This is when insufflated, at the exact same dosage strength. Both drugs are generic brands which get good reviews from postings I've come across. I really don't understand it. I was really looking forward to moving to the IR's, since all of the gel from the ER's totally screws up my sinuses. But 15mg of ER feels far stronger each time than 15mg of IR. This same conclusion has been reached by others, with the same substances and same ROA.

With the ER's I get that familiar feeling almost immediately that feels like my brain is being massaged by a pair of warm hands. With the IR's I feel the body buzz and some euphoria, but still clear headed and not nearly as pronounced.

Any ideas? I'm hoping there is a trick to getting more out of the IR's that I'm somehow missing. Thanks!

Have these ER's gotten safer to snort?

As for why are the ER's better than the IR's.......I've heard the same from several people.

Considering you have 100% subjective effects and nothing qualitative, how are you ruling out confirmation bias?
