Misc Instead of using old cottons with IV for a fix, try this method instead!

I was kinda taking the piss. He is probably fine, but you can catch shit from sharing cottons.

I have had doctors tell me that, as well as people swear that's how they caught their disease.
 
yeah if your "friend" isn't using a fresh rig every time you can totally catch shit like hep c and HIV from sharing cottons. don't do it!

My point was ONLY if it had come in contact with his friends body fluids...I mean I don't know if you want to trust someone saying he didn't put it back in the cotton after it came into contact with his blood...but you can't get blood borne pathogens unless you come into contact with BLOOD!

I think most people do it instead of saving a little bit of dope in the bag for the next day, ie they do it to have a wake-up shot or for when they are out and getting sick.

My method for using cottons is pretty good I think, and I've shown it to a few people recently and they loved it. What I do is backload a syringe with them, push the cottons down about half-way through the barrel, then put water in the back of the syringe and push it through the cottons into the cooker. I'll usually push the water through the cottons, then draw back, push back through, repeat a few times, and then push down really hard to get every last drop out of the cottons. Then I use a way smaller cotton than before to draw up the solution since it's already been filtered through the previous cottons, and I use a fresh rig for the shot (as you should for all shots).

You can also push the cottons most of the way down with the plunger and then draw up water like usual, but I like doing it the other way. I use a tooth-pick to push the cottons half-way down otherwise they may be drawn back with the plunger after you push them down and pull back the plunger to open the back up to fill it with water.
 
I prefer to get a 3ml syringe with luer lock . Pack it with 1ml cotton from camel cig. Unscrw needle, attach micron filter, and attach the needle to the micron. Get another 3ml syringe. Drop said drug of choice (mime is desoxxyn, suboxone, hydromorphome, ect) get a 1ml syringe and backload the 3ml syringe with DOC with 1ml water by pulling out the plunger and squirting the water in(this takes some finnesse) replace the plunger very carefully to not squirt any water out. While the drug is dissolving, I squirt 1ml benzyl alcohol into a 50ml vial then add 30-40ml water into the same vial. Shake the the syringe with DOC, then backload the 3ml syringe with 1ml of the cotton pack and micron filter attached to luer lock. Replace plunger into the cotton pack syringe with doc solution.push needle into vial(that is attached to micron) Push down very slowly as to not rupture the micron. Push down 1ml, then let 1ml back in. Repeat until all the water has passdd through micron into vial.

There yah go, solution pre made that will be good for a month ready for injection. If I dissolve 40mg suboxome in 40ml water, that means 1ml is equal to 1mg . or if I dissolve 120mg hydromorphone into 40ml water, that means each ml has 3mg dilaudid. Get out a clean any gauge syringe, push the needle in the vial, turn upside down, draw back required dose, then take needle out and back load that into a 1ml 30gauge 12.7mm length (i need longs, I have to go ALL the way in to hit a vein, I go in at a very slight angle) , replace plunger ever so slightly and shake vertically once. Then push up to reduce air. Get out an alcohol swab, swab site of intended injection (i usually swab my whole arm LOL) . And then its fun time

Hey JPaz79! Thank you for the tip! I have a couple questions. For heroin how long can the liquid mixture stay in the syringe? Would a few days be okay? Also would storing it in the fridge be okay? Or would it clump to much? If it did clump, could I just transfer it into another one via pulling out the plunger and pouring it? I would think that would help keeping bacteria from forming? Thank you for your time. Am currently recovering from my first bout of cotton fever and I NEVER want to feel this way again, but a lot of times there's a complete shot left in cottons so it's hard for me to waste em. Again, thank you for your time and I would very much appreciate your opinion. That's not cool, man. Your beliefs are your own, just like anybody else's.. it's not at all appropriate to laugh at someone for their religious beliefs and we don't tolerate that kind of judgement here. It's an HR forum.. if praying to God or Allah, or Abraham fucking Lincoln for all I care, gets you through the hell of drug addiction, then that's a good thing... and I'm saying this as a not really religious person at all.. but I respect that others feel differently.

Please don't make a post like that again.
 
whatever you do, do not put them in a baggie

saving dope in water for an extended period of time will convert it back to morphine, but just an hour that wouldnt be a problem.

i personally would just leave cottons on a surface that wont absorb water (plastic or something) and let them air dry in my room. never had problems with the fever, then again i dont live in a humid area.

but as far as HR goes, obviously the safest thing is to just milk them right away, and as long as your cotton was clean in the first place, you should have no troubles
 
Even when suffering withdrawal from heroin I would not shoot up stuff from old cottons. Not only does it do virtually nothing for withdrawal (if you have any kind of serious habit), it usually sends you straight into cotton fever. I simply can't grasp why people even keep trying (actually yea maybe I can lol).

Just chew the damn things, the relief you get is almost purely psychological anyway.

Or flush them immediately after doing your shots, that way you don't have to worry about doing silly things later.
