Swim had his last shot of heroin at ten pm Tuesday evening. He was fine and slept through the night. He woke up around 2 pm Wednesday afternoon. Feeling pretty crappy he ate some of the Xanax he had been saving up. He made all the way until what you would consider Thursday at 2 am. At this point swim wasn't really feeling too rough but thought it was because of the Xanax. he was at 28 hours w o any suboxone at all. So to avoid waking up horribly ill , he decided to eat four mg of suboxone at about 3 am on this same thursday morning. He fell asleep with it it under his tongue and woke up sermon a half hour shaking goose bumps sweating anxiety very high restless AKA our lovely most feared instant withdrawal. Why did swim go into PW after 28 hours of no heroin use. Also, swim gathered some cotton and used that to keep the PW at bay. It def helped. But now my cat is almost out of Xanax! Does swim shooting cotton send him back to square one? I now realized I should have just let swim ride ouT the PW but now it is too late. Is he back at square one? What are your suggestions? Please help. I don't want to return to that life I wanna keep pushing through but how can I do this.
