N2O by itself is weak and easy to say 'no' to but if I'm on tryptamines or rolling, it's much much much harder to say 'no' to.

I agree, the only way to disrupt the trade (like any other drug) is to reduce demand. But when you're tripping a balloon is just wayyyyy too tasty. Combined with the number of people who only go to festivals to get wasted makes it nearly impossible for the nitrous trade to be stopped completely. The best bet is to just spread the knowledge about how ruthless and scummy these people are and hope that it at least becomes less prevalent.

They run rampant around these parts.....

It really is scary to see how organized they are. I've seen countless tanks moved in a matter of minutes. Security goes to one spot, then you hear the hiss in another spot. The quality isn't even good. I'd suck down two lung fulls and still be coherent

I try to stay away from them as much as possible. No need to welcome trouble into your night, although sometimes trouble finds you.

My doctor turned me on to nitrous when I was 12. Broke my arm and I got the mask. Nitrous is fun. In all fairness to the hippie crack term. Yeah you usually do a lot cause each lasts like 30 sec to a minuate.

I read the article and none of it was surprising at all.

I've seen nitrous in lots before and after shows for decades. At very large shows at large venues, and even at small shows at smaller venues.

In some cities the cops don't care and will let the people open up a tank and sell balloons, but other times I have seen them arrest people and make them shut down a tank but then another tank gets opened up or they'll just shut down the tank and move it before the cops arrive.

I never did n2o at a show and the very few times I did it, I either had med grade or food grade and I didn't binge on it and breathed air and not just only nitrous. I have seen people do balloons at concerts and fall painfully on their ass on the asphalt but people who have done n2o before sit or crouch on the ground.
