Insane Ativan week

Okay so has anyone on here taken large quantaties of ativan (lorzepam) and been messed upthe next day?! Because, yes this is abuse, I took it for almost a week staight and woke up messed up everyday! I even went work two days after having taken it the night before, and I barely remember it. Now benzos usually just mellow me out and I can srink and won't remember, but apparently if you take like 8mgs you become a zombie and walk real slow and talk real slow, even the next day. I didn't realize this until after I ran out of pills and got sober, then talked to people at work. No wonder time went by so quickly! Is pcp like this I wonder? Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Hmm, I just get mellow for a while and then I get knocked out from large doses. 8 mg would probably make me not want to move and then an hour later I would fall asleep. But I got low tolerance.

Definitely have been there, done that. I've forgotten whole days of my life from going overboard on ativan. Actually, theres been times where I just forgot that my tolerance was gone and got really messed up off of 4mg or so.
The problem is that when you are on them you don't feel that messed up, yet that doesn't seem to stop the rest of the world from realizing it. I've had phone conversations thinking I was completely fine with people who told me later on that I could barely talk to them. I'm a bit more careful now about my dosage but there isn't much to worry about. You aren't going to kill yourself, just watch out for work.
