I am going to dip my toes in the water here a bit and see what kind of general response I get. I am a 38 year-old writer with a journalism background and have been into the Rave culture, including the use of Ecstasty, for about five years. I have found it an incredible and, for the most part, uplifting experience. At the same time, I have been disappointed about the writing that has been done on the culture. Either they focus solely on the music, or they leave out the emotion of people's first hand accounts.
I am exploring the idea of writing my own book on the subject based largely first hand accounts. A similar book was done on LSD that I though was pretty good.
