I cannot believe this I saw him two weeks ago, couldn't stay long so told him I'd pop down next month. This is devastaing news. My heart goes out to his family and Lara lou...
I only spoke to Alex about a month ago... This is so so sad... He was a wonderful funny, quick witted and larger then life guy... I cant belive he's gone.
I don't really know what to say here. I once sent alex an SMS at 4am by mistake asking what time the first trains were. It was supposed to be to aqa. The dude got out of bed, looked it up on the Internet and texted me back. He didn't even have my number in his phone. When I called him to say sorry he just said no worries I just assumed one of my mates really needed to get home. Alex was a great guy and I will miss him turning up at things and bringing his awesome sarcy humour with him.
Oh my god, I'll always remember him and his amazing funky chicken dance, the fun times and laughter we shared the few times I met him, what an all round nice bloke he seemed to be.
i didn't know him personally only through his posts and the image of him i'd built in my mind, but this is such a loss to the world. RIP sweetie. my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. -x-
