Innocent Heart Murmur and MDMA

My boyfriend was diagnosed with a innocent heart murmur when he was a child and really wants to try MDMA. He thought he had tried MDMA once before but he was pretty sure he got speed and didn't try again since. I was just wondering if he would be okay taking pure MDMA. I've tried telling him to wait till he can see the doctor again but he's been pretty adamant on taking it. Any advice would be appreciated :)
 
I'm going weight in and say that NO ONE with any heart defect should parktake in the use of any stmulant or vasopresspor. Talk to a Physician or at least a pharmacist first. It is is not huge risk. But the risk is elevated of CV events in persons on wth murmurs who use stimulant drugs.
 
I think the only advice that anyone should give is not to take MDMA if you have a heart problem - but you already know this so.

Make sure you test your gear - running into some piperazine or meth/stimulant would be the biggest problem. After that then avoid stressful / energetic stuff (like dancing / running around etc). Don't forget that the come up can increase anxiety and stress which will impact on the heart.

Is he on medication? Does he play sports etc without any problems?
 
I think i had a heart murmur when i was very young.. i don't anymore.. does he?

I've abused mdma, amphetamines, mephedrone, all sorts and i have been completely fine.. (heart wise)
 
I have an innocent heart murmur and have done my fair share of experimentation with a wide variety of substances I'm glad and not glad about trying.

That being said when I do choose to engage in amphetamine class drugs I always take a lower dose, and specifically in the case of MDMA I am very conscious of keeping my body hydrated and giving myself a rest here and there from dancing. I don't think dosing E is going to cause your bf's heart to explode, but overheating and dehydration as a result of E could compound his risk.

He is not on medication and has not had any problems with his heart since the doctor told he had a slight (innocent) murmur when he was a child. I have read however that they can heal over time as one grows older. He is considering taking a half a dose (50mg) and seeing how it affects him. He also wouldn't be dancing, more of just standing around and enjoying. He also will be taking pure MDMA. I appreciate the feedback, it really helps. He did take Ecstasy before but he said he didn't feel happy when he took it, he felt more jittery and shakey which leads me to believe he got a meth bomb or piped, but he did say he was fine when he took what he thought was ecstasy.
 
I have a history of heart problems in my immediate family, father, grandfather, my grandmother died from heart complications a few years ago. When I abused dexedrine this past spring I definitley felt very obvious heart palpitations and chest pain. Also a lot of shooting pains up and down my right arm...which I tend to experience when I smoke cigarettes more....I don't really know if thats related.

When I take MDMA I dont feel any rise in blood pressure or heart palpitations during / day after. MDMA does not raise your heart rate a significant amount. I probably get a higher blood pressure from a lot of caffeine.

The one time I took a pipe I was up all night even though I dosed at around 10pm. I was laying in bed after a rave and even though I had been dancing all night I couldn't fall asleep. I had major anxiety and thought I was going to die. My pupils were large until 8 in the morning and my heart was racing all night.

I suggest being extremely careful of getting piped because taking unknown stimulants can be extremely hazardous to your health.
