before i started,
i was cold hearted.
now i'm empathetic.
how pathetic.
cant think for myself,
always worryin of others' health,
their feelings and thoughts,
like they are my own, I'm tied in knots.
now i need a way to worry about yours truly,
a thought more me would feel unruly,
to put myself ahead for once,
instead of allowing them to eat me for lunch.
allow another to become one,
with the thoughts in my sun.
my brain, still sane,
cares only for your pain.
dont break my fall,
don't worry about me at all,
let me be,
i can handle the beating,
i wont ever be retreating.
i have the inner strength,
to go any length and distance,
with little resistance.
its called persistence.
truck through obstacles,
all in my path,
i did the math,
subtract a negative equation,
its a wonderful sensation.
inner strength i wish you had,
so you could be as empathetic as me,
in the shoes of any other being,
in their eyes i'm seeing.
things in the path they chose,
blew them away, like a rose,
on a cold wintery day.
need a shoulder to lean?
i'm here to be seen.
as long as your willing to speak.
i'm here, and i wont freak.
trust in one. maybe not me,
but someone out there.
its almost mandatory,
so you too, can learn the story,
..of inner strength.
Believe in your mind.
It's not trying to trick you.
it IS you.
