First off, injecting pills are bad.............
I have some 15mg versed tablets. I want to inject them. But, they are not water soluble. I did find something interesting though:
I realize injecting versed is no joke, but this is somewhat interesting. Do i need to make a weak HCL solution to dissolve it in? And could that acidity be tolerated in the blood stream? I would imagine rectifying the pH with some base would probably precipitate the midazolam out of solution defeating the whole purpose. Can dilute HCL be injected? I'd sure be apprehensive doing this. Maybe I can dissolve it in vinager and inject that solution.
Dont lecture why this is a bad idea, just offer helpfull and constructive suggestions other than "dont do it you idiot". And, for you safety first hecklers, I am well aware of the respiratory effects of this drug.........

Midazolam is a benzodiazepine available as VERSED Syrup for oral administration. Midazolam, a white to light yellow crystalline compound, is insoluble in water, but can be solubilized in aqueous solutions by formation of the hydrochloride salt in situ under acidic conditions. Chemically, midazolam HCl is 8-chloro-6-(2-fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-4 H -imidazo[1,5-a][1,4]benzodiazepine hydrochloride. Midazolam hydrochoride has the empirical formula C 18 H 13 ClFN 3 ·HCl, and a calculated molecular weight of 362.25. v
