Harm Reduction Injecting roxicodone...safer than injecting heroin?

Not even close...maybe 30%-50% depending on mg. size ?

but i don't get it? cwe's remove insoluble cuts right? but talc is so so so small it will go thru a cotton filter, a coffee filter etc etc. so what is the point?

to answer this question would require long term studies no? as in, years and years? and would be invalid anyway as the cuts in the h would change.

with the knowledge we have right now, it's pretty simple. if you want to be as safe as possible eat your oxy, high oral bioavailability, longer high, smoke, or sniff your h. if you want to take some more risks, micron filter.

niggling between the two won't go anywhere factual.

Lol. I mean thanks for the advice but kinda off topic to our thread. And I do think plugging is thest ROA for oxy. I wouldnt filter tho. It's coming out anyway.

Well if by YOUR logic you think even in a third world country, where most people live in huts they build, with no internet, limited pharmacies (at best), and almost no resources...they still can somehow magically get microns...than the logical explanation is there lazy.

I really wish your posts made sense. It's like me going to Antartica...finding one of the few people who live there in there igloo and going "you don't have a smoke detector? your taking a great risk" lol...

If someone lives in a hut without resources, maybe they shouldn't take the risks of sticking shit in their veins. You keep attributing things to me that I didn't say and don't believe - I don't think laziness factors in to anything I've said.

Whether we are talking about the third world or the first, I encourage people to be as informed as they can and to not take unnecessary risks. If people do decide to take risks, then the consequences are on them. You can't say "I didn't have microns so it's not my fault I got an infection and lost a limb after I chose to shoot up".

My point from the start was that the purpose of BL is to spread facts so people can be as informed as possible and use that information to make decisions. Speculating isn't useful in this end because even if you decide OVERALL one of the options is ON AVERAGE not as bad as the other, it's irrelevant to individuals because they could still get a bag of heroin that IS more dangerous or a new formulation of a pill with dangerous inactives or something.

It's not helpful to attempt to futilely quantify which is "worse". What is helpful is spreading factual information and encouraging people to make decisions to minimize their risks and the harm associated with their actions.

I think we found the best response, thanks C2tL

Cane has perfect posts answering this question imo. Trying to say it's either heroin or oxy as an answer is ridiculous and can undermind the whole point of BL. Your putting a false idea into individuals minds with either answer. Neither are safe, neither should be used with out the proper percautions (not to say people can't come out unharmed IVing either one). So, why should we try and say which is safer when neither of them are safe to begin with? Its not HR, it the opposite of HR. Just because it isn't what people want to hear, doesn't mean we should ignore giving people the proper HR adivce. I find it ridiculous that anyone would get upset when they come to a HR forum, and recieve an answer telling them how to minimize the risks. So telling people to buy micron filters, fresh needles, etc, isn't stupid. Especially since they are clearly on the internet, and have the ability to order needles and filters. Don't have internet, go to the local library, don't have a mail box, buy a PO box from the local post office. Don't want to do those, accept you are harming yourself, and will have to deal with the consequences. You make the choices in your life, doesn't matter where you are.

ughh there are no indigenous people of Antarctica no one lives there long 6 months tops and they are scientist with computers and cell phones doing studies that take up so much of their time i doubt any of them inject any drugs other than what the doctors with them administer *snip*
