Stimulants Injecting meth- my highs are getting shorter and shorter?

When I first started IV'ing meth, my highs would last what seemed like forever- up to 8 hours sometimes. Now, they barely seem to last longer than 2 or 3 hours if I'm lucky. Is this normal? Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
 
There are a variety of things that could be causing this.
1. A tolerance issue (I'd be willing to bet you aren't new to methamphetamine considering the extreme ROA)
Try looking into ways at reducing this, a google search or search of the forums themselves should yield results
2. If you are binging (which for MA I would describe as multiple redoses over the course of 24+ hours) you may just be getting burnt out. Lack of sleep and proper nutrition can contribute to diminished effects and/or duration of said effects
3. Quality of the dope. Unless you washed all of your gear, and even then, you can never exactly assess the quality of the product. Sometimes even the most solid dealers will get a bad batch.
4. Your described ROA. Oral tends to last longer
Provide some more information and maybe I could help more.

Remember all of the risks associated with using the needle TweakerBirdie! Try a nice oral dose and see if it lasts any longer! I know the rush from IV can be pleasurable but I, along with many others, find this (oral dosing) the most sustainable and enjoyable experience.

^^Both of the above posts address the OP's question pretty thoroughly...I would add, that in my experience, tolerance and diminishing returns in regards to meth happens very quickly with regular IV or smoking....Snorting or oral, even pretty regularly holds off this becoming a problem for a lot longer than other ROAs...

The best thing to do would be to take a few weeks off and then start over with a different ROA...
 
It's also really easy to get addicted to the rush alone when injecting meth, then keep injecting meth just for the rush even though it will only lead to overstimulation and crap feelings in the end. I really can't handle IV meth, I just keep shooting every 3 hours like you even though I have no tolerance because I like the rush so much but don't really care much for the rest of the high.

How long does a closed capped needle containing meth amd rwgular water solutiom safe to shoot. In othwr worda I have a shot and its been sitting unused for a week. Is it still safe to shoot? Will thw high be any different dur to the lapse of time?
 
Woahh, I wouldn't risk a week. That's way more than enough time for some serious bacteria colonies to form. Usually I'm even a little weary leaving a morphine shot overnight, and w/o bacteriostatic water, never let one rest more than 24 hours or you risk much higher chance of infection.
 
Your tolorence is growing. What used to get you "high" will soon fade away and become getting normal. Trust me I was whapping on average .3-.6 depending on quality five times a day. I slept nightly for four hours or more and ate three meals per day. It became getting normal not high fast. Getting clean for a month or so works the best. I was able to tolerate a 1.2 shot scared the crap out of me and never did that much at once ever again.

Seconded. Two months ago I gave a gram a day IV habit. I was just using to function.
