Opioids Injecting loperamide

Couldn't find a talk about this topic so here's my question - what are the effects of isolated and injected loperamide? Is it safe? Is is significantly different from taking the pills? I am eleven days into suboxone wd and loperamide megadose every five days helps me sleep and stay painless and mentally cool. However, constipation, lack of appetite, and headaches make me wish for a more efficient ROA.
 
I would strongly urge you not to inject loperamide especially the pills. Even with a micron filter, there's no way I could condone injecting loperamide.

and that's why you shouldn't IV lope without a death wish.

It's not centrally active like other opioids unless you take so much you risk your breathing stopping.
 
don't inject loperamide. the effects and side-effects won't be any different than oral administration.

You say this now. You think Melange started off banging 150 tablets? No. Chances are he started doing the same idiotic thing that you're proposing and all the justifications and rationalizations took his life.

This is because they misspelled loperamide, which fucked up the search index. I've since corrected this error.

edit: Oh, and I strongly urge everyone reading this to stay away from injecting anti-diarrhea tablets, there is no way that can be done safe and there is absolutely no reason to attempt this insanity.
 
Melange wasn't dumb either, he might have over did it with drugs every once in a while, but this just goes to show how easy it is to potentially end up fatally hurting yourself or dying from fucking imodium

Still miss that dude, he was pretty awesome

Yeah don't get to thinking that you can escape the fate because you're smart and Melange was an idiot, that's not at all what I meant when I said it was idiotic for him to be shooting up lope. He was just a human being who, as Bill said, over-did it from time to time.

He's also not the first or the only one to die from loperamide abuse.
 
I understand you are very emotional about this, tricomb - it is idiotic to suggest this terrible idea, no one must inject loperamide, bad things will happen, end of discussion, never again...

I'm always emotional when it comes to our fallen bluelighters, they are our brethren.
 
Yeah we lost a lot of really awesome and unique BL'ers last year, shit sucked and was so unnecessary, I even lost two very close irl friends to heroin addiction

I also just try to think on the bright side, and am sure we've most likely saved a lot of lives that we'll most likely never even know about through the harm reduction and information available here on BL
