injecting h first time

please hsrm reduction only
im in the uk, most h here is only snokeable,
please can someone who knows uk h guide me through it step by step, for harm reduction only, im going to do it anyway, i just need some advise, thabks
 
My search function isn't working properly, apparently, but there is a thread around that's an injection/IV megathread and will have all the answers you're looking for. Use the advanced search function up in the top righthand corner and search for IV, injection, megathread.

Some key points if you don't do that:

1. try to go parallel to the vein. This means not putting the needle straight in at a 90 degree angle but getting as close to going along with the vein as possible.
2. Get a red flag. This means pulling back on the plunger a little bit before you inject. You should get a plume of bright red blood in your needle which means you're in the vein. ONLY after this should you inject. If you get pink frothy blood DO NOT INJECT as you have hit an artery.
3. Clean needle, of course
4. If you can find someone who is experienced with IV drug use or even a nurse or something, it would behoove you to have them around to help guide you and possibly even hit you (do the injection for you. Really not many people go it alone their first time).
5. Drink lots of water and do a couple of push-ups before you inject; this will help your veins pop and make it easier to get a vein.
6. Don't dig around. If you can't find the vein, pull the needle out all the way and reinsert or, even better, switch to a new needle every time. Seriously, using needles multiple times (even for the same shot) will not only tear up your vein walls and skin but will be far more noticeable as track marks.
7. You may get some blood in the syringe from going through a vein or some such thing. If you have blood in with your H DO NOT put it back in the cooker and re-filter it. If it takes too long the blood may coagulate but just make sure to shake it up so it doesn't clot and clog your rig.
8. You can always do more but you can never do less. Start small as you really have no idea about the quality or how you will react.

Well I'm not familiar with the type, but pretty much any H is injectable. the only issue you'd have is with the cut but if it can be smoked it can most likely be injected.
I really hope things look up for you. Are you in therapy or on any psych meds? You may want to check out The Dark Side subforum, which is a good place to talk about mental health and connect with people that are struggling as well. I have major depressive disorder and a few suicide attempts under my belt (though it seems I wasn't committed, which is good), so I kinda get where you're coming from. But if you're doing this because "fuck it, nothing matters" you may want to try to step back and think about all the negative scenarios that are possible: getting a heart or spine infection, becoming a raging addict, watching your friends and family suffer because you're suffering. Not trying to mother you here but I have been a junkie for going on ten years and I just want to tell you that once you do that first shot, there's no going back, ever. You will be chasing that high every time you shoot for as long as you're using. Check out the "should I try heroin?" thread that's pinned in this forum or in Other Drugs, I can't remember.

Basically I'm just trying to tell you that this is a big decision, and it's one you can't ever reverse. So if you do decide to do it, just be careful and be aware, please. Even if you tried to kill yourself with an OD, there is a big possibility of making things worse (brain damage, body damage, mental damage).

did anyone mention to him that most dope in europe is #3 and needs to be mixed up in something acidic? cause ive never even heard of H thats only smokable.... but yea man be carful cause before i ever did it i never knew you could give yourself hep c from reusing rigs... so if your going to make sure you bleach it every time, and even thats not a 100% guarentee
 
thanks for the replys guys i was quite out of it and feel like a fool now,
anyways i decided it wouldnt be a good idea to inject h i dont want to go down the road to full blown addiction, i'll just stick to smoking it every now and then :)
