injected subutex did not miss, wrist swollen w/ purple circle-not the injection spot

PLEASE HELP! i'm scared! i shot up subutex into my wrist, a spot i've used many times. now my wrist is very swollen and there is a purple-ish colored circle about the size of a cigarette cherry on my wrist, but not the injection site. what is going on?!!?!?!?! IM FREAKING OUT!

i used to bang subs. always ended badly and weird shit happened. so now i don't do that anymore.

If this is your first time banging a sub, or millionth I would suggest you call the poison control center, or the suboxone hotline or get to an er and seek medical advice as animal_cookie suggests.

Dont worry I've had that before. But stop injecting subs - i lost a vein coz of it. Its not worth it.

It's really hard to help you determine what exactly it is or whether or not it is serious from a very brief description; if you are worried about complications from injecting drugs please seek medical attention. It really is not worth it to not see a doctor out of fear about having to admit what happened, you could go to a hospital or clinic where they don't know you. Your health and safety are most important. I really hope you are ok
