Re: Serotonin syndrome happens when the body has too much circulating serotonin. It can easily happen taking MDxx with MAOI's or SSRI's (anti-depressant meds).

I dont think it happens when mixing SSRIs with MDMA, only with MAOIs. SSRIs just block the effect of the MD*A

maybe effexor which is both an ssri and a epinephrine reuptake blocker. Tricyclics are definitely dangerous to mix with e, know that first hand.

It's not because one has the symptons of a condition that one is suffering that condition, right? So with only one sympton I wouldn't be to sure of SS...
