injected heroin into wrist with EXTREME stinging/burning/VERY Sharp pain

injected heroin into my wrist almost exactly alined and below my pinky finger.(into what i thought was a vein & have hit same spot a few times w/ no issues) I drew back 3 separate times just to ensure I was in and had a tiny amount of burning the same feeling as if I have my tournoquite too tight/close to injection spot & push with out releasing it... Almost immediately after I pulled the syringe out I got a VERY SEVERE sharp pain along with almost a stinging sensation fowlled with a puffy/swollen pocket about 3x2 inches around injection spot (almost looks like a huge giant hive) then my entire arm was stinging and have pain bending wrist it also looks like its brusieing around area too.. Now 25-30 min later the severe stinging is basically gone but still hurts a lot espically to bend wrist and extremely tender to touch .. P.S I've shot into an artery on other wrist below my thumb and it was a different pain and happend while injection was going and entire hand immediately swelled TO A VERY VERY EXTREME SIZE, this isn't like that . (today I used that same area/vein a little above and below the spot I used when this happend) PLEASE HELP

I don't do herion but I have had several iv run And blood drawn. Busting a vein burn pretty bad and for a while.
also, I had a veiN swell up pretty huge before,
looked as If it would pop......that was I'm my wrist after having imaging radiation pumped in me
I don't think herion will "infect " the point of entry
so your looking at meChanical Issues that will most likely clot and swelling will go
Down.

Go to hospital diFFerent, know the name, tell them they are theY are the ones that fucked up your wrist

Sounds like you've either missed the vein, or most likely, gone through it... seems fine, suck, suck... blood, blood... then a fraction further, and you're through to the other side. No nerve really to give the game away...? If you're injecting smack, I suppose you mix it with VitC? V. acidic and irritating if not quickly washed away by blood flow, will irritate and harm the tissues badly. I'd guess that's what's happened, but am no expert - I'd follow the good advice of Ibis, and get it checked out PDQ! I used to attend a 'drug clinic', and was appalled by the number of young people in the waiting room who'd lost arms etc. Not that I think you are in danger, but best to be careful!
