Opioids injected fentanyl warning

I injected fentanyl and didn't feel anything, instead I became very hyper and excited, everyone else was nodding off. I thought that I didn't take enough, but it was my FIRST time and I had no other history of opiate use! (stupid me!)

I injected more, another piece of the patch I mean, and the next thing I knew I was in the hospital.


If you become hyper after injecting fentanyl, it is because you are overdosing!

If everyone knew this... sorry to waste your time, but I don't know if there is much literature on the matter. :p

Fentanyl is extremely dangerous for someone who has practically no opiate tolerance. I experienced some scary respiratory depression with my runs with Fent.

Be thankful you didn't die, like some many before you have
 
i have felt that way before while on a fent. binge but it always passes after a few hours. however i was taking the fentanyl orally by cutting the patch into strips and chewing on them. it seemed like to me that i could regulate the dose better that way.
 
I have been afraid to use fentanyl ever since. I was not away that you could chew them! I am going to look into this...
 
most everyone on this site is aware that fent. is extremely dangerous and most threads asking about using it get blasted with ''DONT DO IT"
 
You chose IV fentanyl for your FIRST opiate experience? No wonder you overdosed.. I am sorry to hear that though. Fent is extremely dangerous, even to people with substantial tolerances. If you decide to screw around with fent again, try wearing the patch. Or you can cut it up and chew on it. Or you can even smoke the gel, if you have the gel patches. while this isn't the safest method, you can at least titrate your dose up.
 
Unreal! IV fentanyl for an intro. Why didnt i think of that. Instead of gradually working your way up to the heavy shit just start right out with the big dog and overdose.
All i have to say is it would be in your best interest to leave opiates alone.
The end result is usually extremely sore injection sites all over your arms, an expensive and often annoying habit and a lot of heartache.
Im really glad you are alive to write that post but please dont do fentanyl for a long time or not at all. And i dont mean wait two months and do it again. I mean if you are going to do it again the try hydrocodone, then maybe opium, then either morphine or oxycodone and only then maybe consider giving fentanyl another go.
But again opiates can become very cozy very quickly and quitting them is much more of a pain in the ass then starting your habit.
