hi

already made the mph dosage thread. hope you forgive me for making twho threats in a row, but the topics are quite different.

is there a substance with wich i can inhibit the desire to urinate, or postpone it? i have to pee about every 90 minutes and when i´m excited even more. most of the times my bladder isnt filled up. as ive written in the other thread i have a long exam tomorrow and id like to avoid running every hour on the toilet. of course im gonna drink very little. my first pick would be opioids. does loperamide have the same impact on the desire to urinate as normal opioids? anything else?

shit girl, i too have a small bladder, and as long as you don't have any actual pain etc. well. i know it can be annoying, but what the fuck, that is just a minor nuisance.

alternative: live only on coffee grounds, dry wheat and dehydrated soup (don't rehydrate). now i'm no expert on diet, but i'm shit-sure that will curb the problem. might also severely shorten your life expectancy, but you can't have everything.

edit 2 without being an asshole: has this been going on for your whole life or is a recent development? bladder infections can give to a near continuos urge to piss. nothing some antibiotics won't fix though.

There are plenty of over the counter substances out there, if you want something prescription written, do some research.

some of the above advice is good but if its just a one time thing then a decent but not too strong dose "for your tolerance" of an opioid will for sure without a doubt help you get those effects you desire. i would advise against taking too much obviously as you dont want to be nodding or even "slower" while taking an important exam. hope this helps.

I can tell you from experience that tramadol will stop you right up (prolly other opioids but fents never done it to me =/)! Now Im kinda an overachiever so I usually take like 8-10 (so i cant vouch for the efficacy of low doses) but I swear if you do you wont wizz for a whole day.
...and its horrible imo. Just dont drink alot or I hope your very patient when the time comes

AS unit 2 Biology? ;)
I have the same problem - drink coffee constantly and then nothing for 3 hours prior to the exam. The caffeine acts as a diuretic so anything in you is forced out prior. :)

I had a weak bladder growing up. But you can actually train your bladder to work better/stronger. Just try holding it for longer once a day etc

Having to pee every 90 minutes or so is not abnormal, it's healthy, and does not mean you have a weak bladder. Avoid caffeinated drinks before your exam and don't drink anything immediately before or during the exam and you should be fine. No need to use strong addictive drugs!

talk to the pharmacist to recommend an otc product and if it really is an issue go to the doctor. the side effects of rec drugs are not always consistant from person to person not to mention they have psychoactive effects which will lower your cognative ability for an exam. using drugs deasigned for bladder issues or prostate issues is the right choice

Just came into my head, on the off-chance you're using Diphenhydramine for sleep/allergy issues; STOP! Made me pee every 20 minutes for hours.

Plus, opiates for me just make it very difficult to urinate, but they dont make me need to urinate any less. And also stims like adderall, ritalin, etc have diuretic effects on me and most people. just don't drink a lot beforehand, and hold that sucker till it's all over. The relief of finally pissing AND finishing an exam will be amazing.

Opiates do cause some wicked urinary retention, and IME, benzodiazpine's do too. However, like the user above me posted, it doesn't make the sensation of needing to urinate any less intense, it just makes it very hard (or in my case nearly impossible) to piss. Obviously this is incredibly frustrating, and I would never recomend someone to consume opiates solely for inducing urinary retention.

i went along with 60mg codeine. can´t say if it helped anything.

thanks for all replies. there don´t seems to be a magic bullet.

Word up. Opiates make it nigh impossible for me to piss, but i still NEED/WANT to go veryyyyyyyy badly. It really sucks when you have to go SO BADLY but have to sit down and squeeze a few drops out like a 90 year old man with a prostate the size of a watermelon.

Get a Prostate examination.

I spent nearly 3 years seeing doctors and they all thought i had a weak bladder,
but 4 years later after being given a cystoscopy, no evidence of bladder disruptions i said,
"years ago i thought it might be prostate related"

Had prostate exam (im 20) i have chronic bacterial prostatitis, makes me want to pee all the time, and other, nastier symptoms.
