Ok so although I've only had extensive experience with MXE and perhaps Diethyl Ether, I am fascinated by the subject of this particular class of drugs. It seems they have allot of potential for not only vivid psychedelic alternate realities, but also therapeutic in alleviating PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc.
Of the books I've read thus far:
Ketamine Dreams and Realities by Karl Jansen- a great source of information and led me to the following authors...
The Scientist by John C. Lilly- A given, yes, but my real revelation here is that all his ideas of Solid-State Intelligences are essentially the precursor to modern movies such as the Terminator or the Matrix. He's the granddaddy to that philosophical paradigm, no doubt
Journeys Into The Bright World by Marcia Moore and Howard Alltounian- An optimistic portrayal of K back when it was still relatively obscure, a bit morbid given the ultimate fate of Marcia Moore a year after its publication
A Psychonaut's Guide to the Invisible Landscape by Dan Carpenter- heard about this one on a search here actually. A more recent book focused on the author's personal DXM trips (which I hear is similar in high doses to K/MXE/PCP). Unfortunately he also apparently committed suicide not long ago.. I have yet to finish this one but it's interesting thus far
So yeah, any more books or info on dissociatives? I know John C Lilly has written other stuff that I should look into. Any therapeutic research would also be welcome (Memantine, Riluzole, or the upcoming GLYX-13)
