INFO NEEDED- Any good hints for easier comedowns?

If any one out there have any tips for making comedowns easier THAT WORK.
I'm just looking for help, I do the j thing but it doesn't work in the long term = depresion still comes later.
Please Please Please Please help me.

It's different for everyone, but I generally find that simply telling yourself that the comedowns don't exist makes them go away.
As for pot...a lot of my friends and I find that smoking (marijuana) makes the comedown a lot worse...so try my tactics if you wish...hope they help..
Helped me and now I just don't have comedowns (well not as bad hehehe)

Hello,
Try having nothing but MDMA pills and don't have goey, if you do this you should be able to go straight home to bed, I have noticed this is the case with the pills I have been getting recently. I but on my Air CD and I fall asleep in notine at all.

my little 2 cents on comedowns
[personally, some of my comedowns make me go so bad that i hate my life and myself and try (to convince myself) to never take pills again]
so u know to what extent im coming from.... ;P
okays, i have a jar of 5-HTPs that i take the day after with food [cause with some ppl and empty stomachs, the plastic caps make them throw up and give them a tummy ache... i think im one of them], and borracha and multi vitamins are always beneficial.
healthy body = good moods and good vibes.
[simple fact, but i used to abuse my body heaps and never thought why im feeling tired all the time and grumpy and sad]
the first thing i do when im @ someone's house is to eat [force] 1/2 or a whole fresh banana down my throat.... high in good vitamins and, it's quite sweet and donest require too much chewing [***], so it's kinda pleasent...

as much as the thought of food is off putting, it's *amazing* what it can do to your tummy and your general well-being.
nothing like solids to settle the watery wooply tummy feeling @ 7am .... oh, and i recommend MISO SOUP if u are into that kinda stuff... it fully warms u from within and puts an instant glow on your face.
an essential for me in the winter months...

jucies are good, but it's best to line the tummy first with a bit of solid... like a slice of toast ....

gnerally, the faster u heal and replenish your body, the sooner u will feel better !!!

hehehehe, another thing i forgot to mention... when u are coming down and feeling shit, dont start an bitch fight with your friends... cause u will say things that will hurt them big time and u dont mean it, it just happened cause u were feeling shit, and the friendship will never be quiet the same...

Depression is a state of the mind. Thinking about it just reinforces it.
All the suggestions above help but my favourite cure is to go to my Karate class on Monday and sweat out all the bad chemicals in my system. Plus the concentration required distracts me from my depression... for a couple of hours anyway...
 
yeah the 'EVERYONE READ' will provide a very effective and comprehensive solution.
Personally i don't use anythong i can't buy from the shop down the road, this is not due to preference, it is however a direct resulting phenomenon of my laziness, disorganisation and complete and utter forgetfulness.
Hence i often take a guruana when i'm about half way through my peak or sometimes just when i stop peaking. It makes the comedown smoother, i don't know about the following days. But then again i usually forget to bring guruana out with me in which case it is always straight to the Moon cafe (northbrige WA) for a strawberry coke and a coffee, and excellent service, atmosphere and music. I love that place, oh i miss it, i'm going there now.
 
Also for that fucked up tummy feeling
try Mucane (antacid) , or chewing on those disgusting Quick Eze (now in chewy peppermint) while you're out instead of chewing gum, it does wonders.
If you suffer from feeling vomity the day after try to get a hold of some Stematil or Maxalon, both prescription medications you get when you're feeling dizzy- they help you stomach your food. Ginger caps help too.
But I completely agree with Katz that food asap is the key. And bananas and Miso soup (you can buy it in packs) are exactly what I shove down my throat after a big one.

I agree with all who point to the EVERYONE READ post. Fantastic, informative, insightful. I think a copy of that post should be sold with every pill, kinda like an instruction manual. I followed it's advice for 2T last w/end and had the cruisiest, happiest comedown ever. No depression, no lack of sleep, no sickness or sore tummy. Bananas and turkey meat are the saviours. Whichever genius set up the banana stall at 2T should be given a nobel prize (except for the whole $2 per banana thing, where I bought them at the supermarket for $1.69 per kg. They would have to be 1.25kg bananas!!)
Also, smoking is a great aid in sleeping after pacey pills. Me and my bro had a couple when we got home and *yawn*, sleepies. Out cold so fast we nearly fell into our peanut-butter crumpets!
Had a pharmacology lecture on serotonin at uni today, and basically everything the professor said agreed with the EVERYONE READ post. I sat there with a dumbass grin the whole time. Heehee

As for the suggestion by wish, of taking a Karate class, that'd be great. Take out your depression and agression on some poor unsuspecting bastard who doesn't realise the reason you're raining spinkicks to his head is that you are chemically inconvenienced!! Seriously though, exercise is great (if you can be fkd getting off your sorry ass, it's totally worth the effort.)
Hope this has been of some assistance.

my friend has a notorious pattern of tripping out @ the end of the nite around 5am and gets a headache around 7am... poor girl... not everytime, but about 50%....

yea, thanx for the anitacid remedy... definately worth trying... cause i get bad tummies pangs\aches post clubbing... too much water, and basicallly, i dont have a large capacity in my intestines... nothing i can do about it really... ;P
oh, and i also get this, if i sit down for a break\chat\relieving overheating... and i get up after 10 mins or more,and dance, i get this awful tummy ache... like when u've just eaten a full meal and forced to make a dash.

Instead of starting with a banana in the morning i find a rainbow paddlepop does wonders for the stomach. Smooth and soothing!!(however childish it may be).
As and added bonus I usually head to my friend's house for a spa each Sunday. Smoking spliffs in the spa. What could be better.?

ice cream and milk work better . to suppress stomach acids and fill u up .. milk is better .... its liquid .
 
Thanks for the great reply's it has really helped so far i've had the best comedown yet the bananas after the night helped by having something in my stomach. The St Johns Wart softened it quite a bit. Milk helped because it soaks up toxins and also if you simmer it for a while you get the film off the top and its high in triptofain (gets digested and creats setitonin to bump up your levels after a big roll.
Overall great night followed by a soft sunday and monday but yet to get through Treible Tuesday.

Everyone is shouting the praises of bannanas.
It is no wonder really coz it is a natural product that helps maintain seratonin levels.
A couple of good natural seratonin helpers are -
*bannanas
*fish
*sex
I wouldn't recomend fish on a sunday morning 6am, but a bannana smoothie with skim milk and malt and honey is hard to beat. As for sex, yeah if there is any energy left, go for it

yep no doubt about bananas and turkey, but can u see urself sitting down to turkey on a sunday morning recovery, YUCK.
5-HTP is certainly far more benficial than bananas but y not have both, plus OJ.
provided there is no major recovery and u r not gonna be a trooper and go all sun and into the night the sooner u get a good sleep the better. obviously if u have only had MDMA u should be able to do this.
last night i was a mess. i had a fantastic night b4 and a good recovery, it was some 12 hrs after coming down, but i had had no sleep and no serotonin. i have never got upset b4 due to e, but a few serious conversations started and i thought about things that without drugs involved would make me upset on their own. omg did the waterworks start, i could not stop them. i couldn't drive at one point, and just sat crying for a while, almost to the point that i found it slightly humorous could i couldn't pull myself together. but as soon as those things were out of my mind i was fine, but everytime they came back, another box of kleenex was used. hence if something that makes u depressed normally occurs while ur serotonin levels r shot look out, u'll create a flood. don't talk about serious things, esp the more philosophical, where am i going with my life, i hate my parents sort of talk, doing ur head in is an understatement.
but i went to bed, 100mg 5-HTP and today a totally different person, without the stuff it would have been a slow and painful recovery over several days. get it!!!
 
banannas, or rather a somponent of bananas, help to break down lactic acid too. Lactic acid is the cause of pain in over-exerted muscles
 
ok for me the cure to having a "good" comedown is to not make plans, be alone to chill. i usually get a few movies and lay around all day hahaha i find that if im not with anyone then im ok! you make your comedown as good or bad as you want 2!
just dont fight it, cause you will lose! hahaha
