Indoor Trip Enhancers

persian carpets
a carpeted room with a bunch of space to roll around on
I mainly love tiles, ceilings, walls and any fabrics if they have lots of details
varied lighting and shadows are interesting too

I did trip at a friends house on DXM and he had a strobe light, that was awesome.

if you have the kind of tv that has the screen static, you can stick magazine pages, or images you cut out of magazines on to the screen, with the static adhering the piece of magazine paper to the screen. As the images, light and color etc change behind the images you sstick on the tv, a fantastic series of changes sweeps across the images as the tv image lights and highlights different aspects of the images you hung, as well as bringing out parts of whatever is on the reverse side of the page. I like to make collages on the tv screen when I trip and then just keep the volume off and music on and watch it. You end up seeing some pretty far out and fantastic stuff on the screen, and don't be afraid to change channels for different effect.

Thanks :) Try it out! Lots of fun, and an easy way both feel artistic and also to let go of your work and let random chance influence it. I once had 4 tvs stacked high all set up with these screen collages. I wished I had a whole room made of tvs set up that way hahah.

In the days of my youth I had an intricately tie-dyed sheet that hung on my wall. I was amazed at how many pictures and visions would emerge from it when stared at.

Get a large box, line it with tin foil and suspend a strand of Xmas tree lights inside it. Make a lid or covering for the open end of the box and cut slits, holes, small shapes into it, then place over the box... plug in the lights and be prepared for the most amazing projections onto your wall and ceiling.
