There will be replacements the day after that bill is passed.
The law can never win. Legislature will always be two steps behind the chemists.

To lawmakers: give it up. People want to be high. Altering consciousness is right up there with food and sex in the list of basic human drives. Please legalize all drugs, or at least the safest and most commonly used ones out of each category. Regulate them like you would liquor. Every time you outlaw a drug, a newer, less tested, and possibly more dangerous one comes out to take its place. Nobody knows what's in that baggie of incense or bath salts or whatever they pass RCs off as nowadays. It's a nightmare for anybody in the medical and drug-using communities. If drugs were regulated, their ingredients would be labeled, and accurate dosing and effects information would be available to prevent needless deaths and trips to the emergency room.

So for the sake of harm reduction, please stop this futile pursuit. Legalize and regulate all drugs. Though you cannot enforce responsibility or eradicate stupidity, you can at least make it possible to safely and responsibly use drugs for those who want to.

religious fundamentalists comprise a lot of the popular support here. no surprise, but wow, they even got salvia divinorum. science be damned, they just want to eliminate anything that could change our state of mind (and that is not alcohol or caffeine).

a list of medicines i could go to jail for possessing, thanks State 8).

Personally, after all the people posting youtube videos and with it available in headshops everywhere, I've been surprised it hasn't been banned by the feds yet. Much easier then banning spice, seems like someone would have banned it already. Come on, it's like acid dude, it'll fry holes in our children's brains *sarcasm*

If you don't know what it is, and there is not enough research on it, and people seem to enjoy using it, and it competes with alcohol or tobacco, just ban it.

Very, very wise policy. We can trust the good government of Indiana to protect us from ourselves.

This facetiousness could be applied to the entire federal government of the US as well.

I love how my state doesn't give a shit about any drugs. You could probably have a kilo of heroin in your car when you get pulled over and just get a ticket. <3 You Minnesota.

And they only banned like what, 20 JWH compounds? They go up to JWH-403 or possibly higher.
