Has anyone ever had interdrug xanax? How does it compare to upjohns?

Thanks!

Yeah I've heard this argument that technically makes sense. However, (and leave far wing political beliefs out of it) the USA has FDA guidelines that say how much filler must be in each pill whereas I'm pretty sure Thailand could give a shit.

My question was has anyone had the two?
I agree xanax is xanax but that like's comparing upjohn's and pfizer (still the same thing?) or w/e shit they made in the sweat laboratories of Bangkok.

I really don't think it makes a difference what binding ingredients are used. It is still going through the same MOA (mechanisms of action) if you dose it orally.

Generally we don't allow threads about speculation or subjective opinions about which brand/generic of a drug is "best" or "strongest" on Bluelight, because it's just unprovable speculation. But I assume what you are really asking here is if anyone has tried these generic alprazolam pills that are sold online and are they real and as equally effective as American brand-name Xanax? I guess whether that's allowed will be up to the OD mods, I'm honestly not sure.

I don't think that many countries have regulations that are so lax that the quantity of active ingredient could be significantly different from what it's labelled as but honestly who knows if these are from an illicit lab or if they even are what they are supposed to be. I mean, I doubt you happen to be in Thailand and are getting them from a legit pharmacy, you're buying them on the internet right?

I was able to find this thread that mentions "Interdrug" alprazolam - foreign xanax/klonopin
The poster said:
Markings on the alprazolam are interdrugs 1.0. General consensus is that the pills came from thailand. Others that I know that have gotten these pills have said they are equivalent to US/EU brand benzos. To this point, I'm unable to confirm if theyre weaker than they should be.

But that thread is from nearly 2 years ago so rules in Other Drugs may have gotten stricter since then.

upjohn's and pfizer (still the same thing?)
Xanax is currently listed as manufactured by Pfizer. Basically Upjohns + Pharmacia merged in 1995 and then merged with Pfizer in 2003.

I really don't think it makes a difference what binding ingredients are used. It is still going through the same MOA (mechanisms of action) if you dose it orally.
Actually what binders/fillers are used and their quantities can make a difference in absorption, I have posted links to studies in other threads. But in most Western countries a generic drug has to undergo a small trial that concludes that the average blood levels after taking it are reasonably close (within certain limits) to the brand name for the same dosage strength. I have no idea how one would find out those kinds of details about random generic alprazolam sold online that's made in Thailand, and I doubt that with a drug like alprazolam the binders/fillers would really make a significant difference as long as the quantity of alprazolam in the pill was in fact as listed.
