increased ability to visualize after psychedelics?

When I read, think, process information I don't see it as much as feel it or hear it. This makes things like math a real pain.
Has anyone noticed the ability to visualize things better or in more detail after psychedelic use?

Opinions on mushrooms vs LSD related to this? thanks

Many scientists used LSD (before it caught on and became illegal) to find creative solutions to difficult problems. You might have heard that Crick discovered the helix shape of DNA after having taken LSD.

I believe Feynman, one of the founding thinkers of quantum mechanics, also had a major breakthrough due to LSD.

I'm sure there would be more, if it weren't for the stigma attached to "drug use" in western cultures.

I think LSD use has positively effected the way I think.

What I mean by this is I've become more able to break through obstables that are subjective to myself after LSD trips.

I dunno how to explain it, if I need to be creative it comes more naturally. It's easier for me to imagine something that isn't associated to conditioned thinking. It's helped me with music too and especially writing.

I can easily see how it could help people in any situation, LSD helps you overcome the barriers/obstacles of your mind.

yeah there's a pdf about Crick and low-dose LSD floating around the web.
My issue is I have a problem visualizing (auditory/kinesthetic learner) the simplest of arithmetic and am wondering if LSD and mushrooms increases ones ability to see things in their mind post trip. Numbers and such.

Anyone have some personal anecdotes about this? thanks

personally i have always been a very visual learner, with some difficulty in the auditory area. i'm not sure if psychedelics have helped me visualize things, but it certainly has helped me think about things from different 'perspectives', be they visual or otherwise.

Had some experience in my late 20's with 2cb and I can understand what you mean here. Ten years later now I wonder if my decreased ability to visualize would be helped by a few trips with something more psychedelic. :|

Yes, try LSD or mushrooms. They are way more psychedelic than 2cb.

They are the ones that have many accounts of breaking down the barriers of people's minds and being a tool in being more aware of the reality you create.

Look at the 60's.

It wasn't 2cb that caused such an influx of good music, open mindedness and awareness of the importance of love ect.

It was LSD and weed!

There have been many studies that have shown that participants experience heightened levels of awareness and perception even 2 months after dosing, especially after a meaningful or very spiritually fulfilling trip.

This is absolutely merging with my own experiences. It´s like having more control about yourself - like beeing awake after sleeping for a long time. The higher I dose the longer it lasts when the experience is over.
