In this life, I aim to ...

Yeah, these are my aims. :) Cool thread, MDAO.

Good luck. That sounds pretty ambitious. ;)

... i think i can, maybe more.
;)

BUT for me the meaning of life is to be myself, and in a way that doesn't detour others from being their-selves. if i am to accomplish my goal, then being who i am all the time anywhere is the only way: letting me be, you be, and allowing whatever might be, to just be.

In this life I am to be the pillar of strength to my love ones and continue to survive and be stronger as each day passes.

..improve myself, my experience and the impact i have on others.

it's a never ending thing.

ill be pretty happy if i can open my heart to love everyone and truly live with integrity to my true self.

To understand the self and society better. Find ways to make society more inclusive and cohesive. Increase equality....

to accept all of life's realities good or bad, to love and be loved by someone

At this point, the most I can say with any confidence re. what I aim to do in this life is...find out what I aim to do. :p

But I suppose that if I were to strip down all my pretensions to any higher aspiration, my only true 'life goals' up to the present moment have consisted largely of 1) Securing a stable financial situation so as to guarantee a certain peace of mind (a coward's lust for comfort, I guess); and 2) To capture and nurture an enduring sense of what it means to be alive.

In this life I aim to exist and attempt to find meaning in my existence despite the fact that existence itself seemingly has no meaning.

i'd like to transcend my body. I feel like a mech warrior walking around in this thing.

I am feeling that way....the passenger on a long journey.

I want to understand why abuse happens and save at least one kid from it...why, because it leads to self abuse.

Also: laugh love fuck and drink liquor...make a damn revolution come quicker

I have a bad habit of jinxing myself when I talk about what I am going to do.

For these reasons, I feel NOT responding to this thread is just as valid.

I want to become fully self-sufficent. To aquire a small patch of land, build my own house, grow my own food and drugs, and hunt my own meat. To escape from the materialism and greed that is so engrained into our society. IMO total freedom means not having to rely on anyone but yourself. It would also mean having to give up lots of modern comforts, which I think I could adapt to. Except to do all of that would require MONEY which is the number one thing I want to escape because too much of it causes people to distort their morals.

Let's start a hippie commune in India.
Call it Blue Enlightenment.
