They've used tunnels and boats, and now Mexican drug traffickers are getting more creative. Smugglers are using ultralight airplanes to drop a few hundred pounds of marijuana at a time into the United States.

It's just one more method in a smuggling portfolio that appears to be expanding as pressure increases on the ground from American law enforcement.

$2,000 for a flight is peanuts & while risking your life & freedom, No way would $2,000 tempt me to do something like this.
 
Man the Mexicans have been doing that shit with the ultra lights for several years. And many of the smuggler mules, are given $500 to walk through the desert across the border with a backpack of coke, or weed, or heroin..and $500 buys a lot of shit from a poor dude from Mexico..lol, Lost Boys you must not have any idea how cheap life is considered to be in Mexico!! People have done murders for less than $2,000!! lol,,$2,000 would pay for 4-5 mules to walk 50+ miles through rough desert terrain with a backpack of some drug, usually weed, but more often weed,a kilo or 2 of coke, and a few ounces of heroin, etc..
 
LB lives on the east coast. The only thing he knows about Mexicans is that they mow his lawn.

2G's is HUGE in Mexico. That's like giving us 50k to spend here. 2 grand buys a lot in Mexico. The poverty down there is terrible. That is why they come here and risk the stuff they do.

Yeah, I read this a few days ago on a different site, and I thought, "how the fuck is this new?". And they're not the only ones that have done that.
