Misc In need of suggestions for new year's

I've been looking to try both acid AND coke lately (not at the same time), and I figured New Year's was a perfect time.
Basically, I'm trying to roll but if I can't get ecstasy, is cocaine a good substitute? Is it worth the money, or should I just spend the money on weed?

Also, would it be smarter to do acid on the night of new years, or the next day? The night of new years will be at my friend's house with about 8 other close friends.

Cocaine and MDMA are nothing alike apart from the fact that they're both stimulants. Personally I prefer MDMA for it's longer duration, broader spectrum of effects and I don't find it nearly as "fiendish" as coke but it all depends on who you do it with too. I had one group of friends who I HATED doing coke with because as soon as they started coming down they would get borderline violent, bitching that this persons lines were bigger or this person didn't pitch as much etc. Bullshit. But I had another group of friends who were perfectly fine to do coke with.

I always prefer to drop acid in the mid afternoon to get the best of both worlds (day and night). 8 people might be a few too many to do acid with though, unless you're sure everyone can handle their shit. If one person freaks out it tends to wreck it for everyone... I prefer to do acid in smaller groups, usually no more than 4 people.

I appreciate your suggestions. These 8 people are people I've rolled with, tripped with, and done everything inbetween with for the past 3 or so years. None of them are violent in the least bit, and only 4 of them use drugs lol. I would be doing the coke on my own, and the acid with only one of them. I appreciate your suggestions again dude. I'm thinking that on 1/1/2012 I drop the acid at ~ 2 PM

oh and just to be sure - Is the cocaine worth trying it? I don't get the extra 40+ dollars to spend on drugs other than weed very often, so I want to be sure I'm not wasting my money getting a bag of coke and not something else.
 
If you've never done it before then I'd say yeah, it's worth giving a go and as long as you get a full gram to yourself it should be worth it. Any less than that and it's not really worth it in my opinion. It's expensive as fuck and I'd sooner buy a roll or two for waaaay less though.

Warning though: On a coke comedown it's not uncommon at all to think "FUCK, I shouldn't have wasted my money, god dammit!!"

i always been a loner at doing drugs tho, but coke cannot be shared! if you are low on funds, stick to E
 
Coke + LSD sounds like a pretty sketchy combination to me personally. The cokecome down will happen long before the effects of the lsd are wearing off (unless you got a llooot of coke). In my experience anyway, the coke comedowns can be a bit harsh and uncomfortable, and that's definitely not something you wanna deal with while tripping. I'd suggest finding something that will not bother you with a comedown while you're tripping.

Personally I'd just get a bunch of weed and smoke out while tripping
